Hi, you should receive your CC letter today / 04.08.2017/. Usually it takes between 5 and 7 days to send it. My CC was on 27.07.2017 and i receive the CC letter on 03.08.2017.
When you have scheduled interview date ceac status change to " IN TRANSIT" / as i read somewhere/

We just got notification of our interview date today! It'll be Sept 6, almost exactly one year after our PD of Sept 7!

Wow. So beautiful to see so many of you wishing us good luck today. Thank you so much because it worked. :-) they only asked 
 
"Are you the petitioner" Yes
"Are you living together in France" yes. His response, ok wow. 
"Where will you live in.the US.
Answered
"What is your financial situation"
Explained. 
He then said to use assets the requirement is much more when you don't have a job. 
So I asked, maybe it's 5 times more, he said, I don't know but there is a calculation, I will do it later. If all is well, the passport will arrive in 10 days. 
Then we said, we have a joint sponsor if needed, julien clarified that yeah, we have her paperwork. 
So then he took it, said. "That's great, no need to calculate now. All is good. Having problems with the computers so you should receive your passport with the visa in 10 business days. Enjoy moving back to the US. :-) 
 
So yay, we're finished!!! Thank you everyone for all of your support. Heading home tonight, will be back online tomorrow to give a better review. Thanks again everyone for your well wishes. Really made me smile.

My husband's interview was today (08/01/2017) and his visa was approved!!! 

I got my interview date today! Finally  It's September 6th 8.30 am
Very nervous and excited at the same time!

Just got off the phone with NVC and got my interview date - September 19. 

My husband bought a one way ticket. He had no issues during POE!

I bought one way ticket for my wife and HER POE IS IN 3 HOURS. I'll let you know how it goes.

I was just able to move my appointment date from the 21st of September to the 24th of August!!!!!

Just one more thing to wait - biometric appointment notice, and then - some relax , for a while

No need to make a rude comment about a person (nurse), who you've never seen, and who can't even respond to your inappropriate "statement"..
Besides,at the end of all,  measurements have been signed by physician.  
 
P.S. BTW, I wasn't asked at DMV about my height. She literally stood up next to me and "measured" me by sight. And since 2014 it's on my DL, so was on my AOS, and now - on my I-751.

The NVC does not approve anything. You are mistaken that your son was approved for anything by the NVC.
A grandchild can not be a derivative beneficiary. You can be a derivative beneficiary, but not your child.
The US Embassy is correct.
Come to the US with your immigrant visa. Get your green card. Establish ties to the US with a bank account, state ID, and file US tax returns. Petition for your child. Get a 2 years Re-Entry Permit. Go back home to care for your child. Return to the US within the 2 years of your Re-Entry Permit. Get another Re-Entry Permit if you need to. When your child gets an immigration visa, return to the US with the child.

How about offering a solution instead of being mean?

The activity is what makes it worthwhile evidence, not just having an account, so I believe along with other strong evidence you submitted you should be fine since you presented bank/credit cards activities from the 'beginning"  to present days. 
But of course, it all will dependent on a IO who will review the case.
 
Some people don't even keep their assets together, and still successfully made it though, during ROC. So, who knows how it really works

He did his interview Thursday on the 13 on this month it was ok an smooth,the lady only ask 3 question an was out of there,his interview was at 8:30 Am an by 11 am it was done

Got my P4 letter today and my interview is on Aug 29th!!!!! Finally in the greens now!!!!
