  1. You can order the CENOMAR online and use FED EX,the courier service, instead of the regular mail.It takes one to two days.

I ordered one(from Hong Kong, not Japan) using the regular post and it took about 7 weeks to be delivered, which delayed my interview...good luck😊

DanniColes, where did you got your NBI Clearance?

I had mine too after a week and everyone I know got theirs after a week. This begun after NBI automated their process and online appointment system. It's supposed to speed up the process but somehow it delays it.lol.

I got mine in Bulacan, last November.

She's in Manila, but it wasn't the main  office.

Im sorry that happened, but it shouldnt take that long, even if someone has a namesake in their system,it only takes a few days to get the result

.I think you can go ahead with your interview, show the receipt and tell the interviewer why you dont have the NBI clearance, but hopefully you get the clearance soon.good luck

My fiancee went in for her NBI clearance for our interview on  the 15th. But they said it wouldn't be ready until the 17th! When she went back to  ask for it to be expedited, they told her to come back tomorrow to ask.

I'm pretty sure we need it for the interview, but is there some way to expedite the NBI?

We'll find out tomorrow I guess, but we're freaking out. I already have plane tickets to be there on the 15th, but leaving on the 17th. And tickets are so expensive! Any advice please?

Where does  your fiancee live,if i may ask?.i went to my local NBI office and got it same day.they took my fingerprints and after  a few minutes they printed the clearance

I would agree with this. I dont buy the story of "just signing the paperworks at the hospital" to make the processing of her kid's birth certificate easier. I am from Philippines and obtaining a marriage license in Philippines is not as easy and quick as compared in U.S. She is obviously married and she hid that fact from you. In Philippines, you cannot get a marriage license in just 2days.

You have to attend a pre-wedding seminar. And if you are 25years old and below, you need parent's advice/consent.

What I am trying to say is... Marriage in Philippines is a long complex process. One cannot simply say, I didnt know I was married. I signed something and I didn't know it's a marriage thing. Philippines is semi-conservative. Having a baby before marriage is not socially accepted on some parts of the country and so some rush into marriage knowing that there is a baby on the way. It's still planned marriage though.

So agree with you,it is a long process to get married, you cannot just show up at the mayors office to  have the ceremony, and in the Philippines, everyone weds with sponsors or witnesses.

She lied,I am sorry OP you are going through this ,but you have to move on from this girl, she led you on, thinking it would never come up..you are young and someday you will find someone who is going to make you happy.good luck

Why only include the last three months? What I did is I took important texts from the beginning of our relationship and I put about 6 per page, printed back and front, then conversation from skype that had the word "I'll call you" or "call me" for the last 6 months (since skype only has that far back), it was about 8 pages front and back.

Make sure you have a lot of pictures, like 20, you can tape them to pieces of paper like 2 in each sheet. And its good to show pictures of you and him with family and friends and in different places.

    Hope this helps!

They only want proof of ongoing relationship from the time the petition was filed ,i was at the interview where this lady brought a big bag of evidence from the time they met,and she was told they only need the recent ones..

  7. That is good,i did same thing for evidence of ongoing relationship,i just showed constant communication,i printed about 10 screenshots per month, since we filed the petition, and western union receipts, his conversation with my family, mine with his,if he sent you xmas card, throw it in,and your photos together. Its always good to  be on the safe side though and frontload..different for every embassy..good luck?

  8. You do need pictures in your I 129f application, maybe 10 pics, but they are secondary evidence, the most important are the passport stamps and tickets,receipts..

The VJ guides are really helpful, most of us here did it ourselves and got approved without any problems,if your case wasnt complicated ,maybe you should consider doing it on your own,a lot of work, yes,but at least you get all the information first hand.

either way you do it ,i wish you the best?.

I did not obtain a police clearance from my home country but I did get a police clearance here in UAE as I have been here for almost 3yrs now. :) The way I understood it (and anyone can correct me if I am wrong), you should be getting a police clearance from the country where you resided last and it lasted for years. something like that. and it has an expiry date as well. Best of luck. God bless your journey!

If you are from the Philippines ,you have to obtain an NBI clearance.,Light27 is correct, beneficiary needs police clearances from places where the applicant resided within 6 months from age 16 ..good luck

  10. Your approval will come soon,so hang in there, they usually approve after receiving the RFE reply,in our case,2 weeks..if you get approved this January, she wont need to renew her passport, assuming you guys scheduled her interview sometime in april, she will still have 11 months left before her passport expires,so shes good..good luck, hope you get good news soon.

  11. Hey ,i tried the search engine and typed this:

101(a)(15)(K) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Additional evidence is required to establish the qualifying relationship. Submit your response to this request for evidence along with the attached blue sheet."

There are couples of threads in this forum about it..thought you can read them to get some ideas on how you should reply to your rfe☺

  12. He needs to request a criminal record paper from his local law enforcement authority in Singapore. As a proof he has a clean record. It should be an official document that claims he has no criminal records, followed by a stamp and signature to ensure it is a certified copy.

RFE notes are usually sent when you forgot to either submit a document, or if they request you to send in an original. I don't think in your case it has to do anything with any proof about your relationship.

I am not aware about the 101 act but if it helps here is an explanation:

    https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/SLB/HTML/SLB/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-29/0-0-0-101.html

If I were you I would call them...

Based on what i read, the beneficiary doesnt need police records until the interview.
