    Hello AOS friends,

Anybody from Florida Feb 2017 Fillers, has received any update about the prossiding of their AOS petitions? I just keep seeing people from others states getting Interviewed and some other gettings their green cards directly in their mail boxes,.

My local office processing time still has Dec 2016 for the I 485 petitions!

Its cant be real right? I have also tried to take an infopass appointment online but is totally impossible, the webpage doesn't offer any available date (considering the visibility of only 14 days given)

What to do? ......my Medical exams will expire in a few weeks .

    wow what a nice 2018 beginning ....

    peace people, take care.

I'm Orlando and still waiting. The website says they are processing April 2017. I sent in a SR. SR was completed on Jan 11th and Im still waiting to see what comes in the mail!!

  2. I just wanted to say congratulations to everyone so far :) We are still waiting in Orlando. Our Service Request was "Completed" yesterday, so just waiting to see what comes in the mail.

I also thought I would share that we used the Advanced Parole this morning. We decided to go on a week long vacation (Bahamas Cruise) we didn't apply for I-131 till about April, and we used the 'Paper' parole this morning arriving into Port Canaveral. We arrived and the immigration/customs officer was incredibly friendly, pulled me aside, and it took 15 minutes. He literally said, "Oh we are just going to give you some stamps today, it wont take too long.... Did you have a nice vacation?". We just had a friendly chat whilst he was entering stuff on the computer, stamping passport and Advance Parole Doc. Thats it :)

    I hope that helps :)

Anyone in the Northeast FL area on here? Our local office is Orlando, but our case still only says "fingerprint fee received." In August, it will be the 6 month mark and we can call. We did not file for AP because we don't need to travel internationally until Christmas, but are now thinking in August we should apply since there has been no movement on the green card front. It's really disheartening :(

I'm In Orlando itself and I'm in the exact same situation as you!

My spouse and I agreed to file for AP in April and we received it in June because we have "honeymoon" booked for Jan next year to Bahamas.

it didn't cost anything to file we just submitted it with a copy of the receipt from AOS.

    good luck!

    Hey guys

Can anyone tell me if the Visa process is easier for someone coming to Australia than America or the other way around?

We've been looking at me going to America for the last month but the visa path we'd probably have to take (Finace Visa) by the time it processes, would put an incredible strain on our relationship. I'm  feeling really overwhelmed and know we need help but can't afford to pay for a lawyer. So I'm trying to figure out if him coming here would be easier.

If not, can someone possibly recommend a  professional consultation we could have with someone that wouldn't cost us anything? Or someone that REALLY knows their stuff.

I've been told there are people you can get general advice from to guide us but I don't know where to find them.

    Thanks so much.

    Hi Katie,

My partner and I looked into this and Emily is absolutely correct. It's a lot more expensive coming to Australia than moving to the USA. The main application form for Australia is 70 pages long (I'm not kidding).

i moved to the USA on K1 and it took 5 months. Very easy straightforward and affordable.

Y'all... I called in my service request and the guy that helped me was the GOAT... This man was like wow we received your case 2/13 let me put this service request in and gave me a reference number super fast. After that call I have just a glimmer of hope in the USCIS

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I'm on day 84 (case received 8th Feb) (Service request done on day 76) I can not wait to leave the house and just have a 'normal' life again!
