Hi Guys,

Long time listener, 1st time poster.

My partner and I have applied for a K1 visa (He is in FL) I am in Australia and well we are obviously not married and deeply committed to each other.

We met when I did an exchange program in FL for 12 months, started dating, I returned back to Aus and we've done a few trips back and forth and decided to take the next step.

Long story short. My full north certificate only has my mother's details and the no father details on it (My parents split up shortly after I was born) I have never had a problem getting my Australian passport, obtaining police checks and obtaining my previous J1 visa in 2013.

Does anyone know if this would be a problem at all?? Would a stat declaration from my mother assist at all??
