You don't need to care, I got a lot of friends that had similar experiences. I think USCIS have not been updating approvals recently. I don't think it's anything to worry about, the letter and the mail is good enough evidence. 

No  News yet,  am still waiting, even spouse too, she still waiting to be called for citizenship interview.

There is every likelihood that he will be denied. I was advised to apply for b1/b2 too after wedding even before my wife file my cr1, even though am a lecturer in a university in Nigeria which I see as a strong ties and also have other ties too yet the CO still deny me. It was very painful, I had to go and wait and do my filing and am still waiting. So I will advise your husband to wait and gather more evidence for his cr1. I wish you and your spouse best of luck in your endeavors

sorry for all that you experienced in hands of the so called lover. He must have been lying to you severally in course of your marriage, maybe you don't notice or just pretended because of the love you have for him. But I do know that the wicked shall not go unpunished. I will advise you to pray more to God and seek the counsel of a good attorney.
