I feel like Nashville field office is slower than others. No update sincethe biometrics reuse notice on 5/3 after filing it on 4/29. USCIS case status says current processing time is 7 months but when I see the field office processing time for naturalization, it is 12 months 😓 anyone else in the same shoes?

We're in the same boat. Filed 4/19, still no updates aside from bio reuse. It seem the ones who have to go in to do bio again are going faster.

  2. We just got our approval for my husband! On December 29th :D

    Filed in August 2019

Had fingerprint appointment for March but that got cancelled due to Covid.

In May we got notice that his previous fingerprints were use.

December 10th they transferred us to NBC.

December 29th Case has been approved.

No notice on card being produced yet. But it is finally coming!

Wait for it guys, seems like real soon for all use August filers :D

If based on marriage and having met all requirements (residency etc), you can start submitting within 90 days before 3rd GC anniversary. Just submit one or two days after eligibility to save yourself unnecessary stress. Good luck!

    Most appreciated, thank you.

  4. I am a K1 immigrant, I am currently going through my second Green Card application, which is currently being hindered by Covid.

At which point did you apply for Naturlization?

3 years of being physically in the USA or 3rd anniversary of receiving the green card?

    Thank you!

  5. Green Card approved. My Case Status updated less than 2 hours later to card production.

Ours was because the vaccinations were in question, but we alleviated that by resubmitting a sheet of paper.

She said that it is sometimes sent out to inform you IF you go over a year.

The lady we had Ms Harrison was very friendly. (She was the supervisor)

Not really much in the way of questions and such, just going over our forms making sure they were filled out the same still.

Took no longer than 30 minutes.

For the Fresno couple - don't park at the parking meters. 2 hours max wait. We were in there for 2.5 hours ish and got ticketed. And its a pain to walk out and back in.

I got a sealed envelope with my K1 packed that I had to send in when I filed my AOS. I know not all countries do that, but my guess is that that what's in there.

You can always contact them and ask why you need that since you're k1. They can make a mistake they're only human.

I know someone who has a problem with his AP, they keep telling him he needs to pay the fee when he is filing for AOS and you don't have to pay a fee. He keeps staying in contact with them because it's their fault.

Yep, we have done info pass. That got us nowhere.  All the lady did was read me the notice I received! Like I couldn't  read it myself! My husband got his medical back at POE. So we sent the whole thing in as well as the D'S 3025, like it asked. I might as well just pay it, just in case, but it's  just another amount we can't  really afford. Rest.

  7. Directly from USCIS website. We turned in the D'S 3025.

    Medical Examination

If you received a medical examination prior to admission as a K nonimmigrant, then you are not required to have another medical examination at time of adjustment as long as:

    • Your Form I-485 is filed within 1 year of your overseas medical examination
    • The medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition
    • If you did have a Class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility and you have complied with the terms and conditions of the waiver

Even if a new medical examination is not required, you still must show proof that you have complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original, overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you are required to submit Part 1, Information About You, Part 2, the vaccination chart, and Part 5, the Civil Surgeon's Certification, of Form I-693 (in an envelop sealed by the civil surgeon). Please see the instructions forForm I-693 (PDF, 333 KB) for further information."

  8. I haven't  received the notice for the interview yet. I just got the text notification. We did NOT turn in the i693. We are k1, so we only needed to show the 3025, as per the USCIS website. However, a notice we got prior said, "you did not provide your i693, please bring it to the interview. But k1 don't  need i693 if the interview is within the year, which ours is. So I am confused as what to do now.

Our USCIS account shows that the service request on uscis was assigned to an offer, responded to and marked as completed. I believe I'll get the response detail by mail. There hasn't been a change in case status, still received.

It will be great if the response gives any information about anything they are waiting on that hasn't caused an RFE (problem with biometrics?) or otherwise provide some piece of mind.

Anyone have any experience here with service requests and responses?

We sent in a request as well. On May 12th. USICS currently says it still has not been assigned for processing. We sent in my husbands 3025 for his immunizations instead of the i697 needing signed by civil surgeon, as per what it states for K1. We got a letter stating that we needed to get the i697 completed before the interview or if we don't need an interview they will tell us where to send the form. I am so angry that they state we need one when we are a K1 Visa to AOS, and it clearly states that we do not need a new Medical exam if it is within one year. The 3025 is supposed to be sufficient. Well... long story short, our request for more information still hasn't moved to processing in the last three weeks they have had it and we were told we would hear from Tier 2 within 15 days. Looks like my husband will be on the phone yet again next week!

Hi guys me and my fiance just about want to start our kl fiance visa and we still get confuse about that we need lawyer or no to start our kl fiance visa and is lawyer can help to get visa easily?....please help.

Not really sure what you're saying, however, you DO NOT need a lawyer. The K1 process is REALLY easy if you follow the guides etc on this website.
Having a lawyer will probably extended the process rather than shorten it. - But it adds an extra layer of security etc should you get called on for an RFE or whatever.
