Bio metrics completed this morning, only about 15 minutes for my 2 girls
I brought or certificate of marriage as her paperwork has her married name but passport still has her maiden name
Good thing I brought it as there was a question about the name on the application but not a major issue
Was actually a really pleasant experience.
Now another countdown begins for us LOL 

So we went and checked the PO box today and sure enough the biometrics apppointment letter was in there. Scheduled for 3/22 which is great news. No sign of EAD NOA1 yet but the EAD is listed on the biometrics along with the AOS so I guess all is good in that aspect. I'm also assuming that the AP being absent from the biometrics letter is normal? 

We got our NOA1 hard copy on 2/20 and our Biometrics Letter on 2/24; I was kind of surprised with only a 4 day gap there.  Biometrics appointment is tomorrow!
 
I just checked the case tracker and for the I485 it says "Fingerprint Fee was Received" and for the EAD it says "Case was Received".

Was there any letter included explaining why they returned it and what you need to do to resubmit?  There usually is something included explaining what happened, which it sounds like you got since you said that there is a rejection notice for the EAD and AP.
 
I'm guessing they started to reorganize and staple based on what makes sense for them when they are processing the applications.  As they were doing that, they must have come across something that caused them to realize they couldn't accept it as is and needed to return it to you to get it fixed.
 
I'm sure it's rough feeling like you lost 3 weeks in the processing time but, whatever the issue, I'm sure you can get it fixed this weekend and on it's way back to Chicago.  Good luck!

I've been reading the thread lately but haven't post anything yet.
Our package got delivered on Feburary 22 and we are still waiting for the NAO1. I was hoping to hear something by tomorrow!

NOA1s are coming in next 7-10 days 

just got notified that they cashed the Cheque today  submitted on feb 17 and they received it on the 19. @Martella&T and just keepin you  in the loop and @HappyBunny I’m in nyc too! But was on the k1 visa

I would also suggest getting that ordered now. It doesn't necessarily matter that you have no convictions. It still takes them time to get your certificate printed and send it in the post. You will need it for you medical and for the interview. And the process will speed up now that you are at NVC. Good luck!

I would suggest doing it now.  It will take a week to two to arrive and is valid for 6 months or 1 year, I can't remember exactly but plenty of time of validity for the K1 process especially after NVC.  Once the London Embassy has your file from NVC, everything moves pretty quickly and you can get your paperwork, medical, and interview done in a matter of a few weeks/a month.  We had an issue where we ordered a copy of the police certificate, waited 2.5 weeks for it to arrive in the mail (it never came), and then had to request additional copies sent which delayed our process a bit.  So, if you can, order now.

I sent off our package ( my wife and my 2 kids 11 and 8 years old) on the 22nd of February and got a delivery confirmation on the 26th. Now the waiting begins. I want to wish everyone good luck and let us continue to support each other.

It amazes me how a lot of these places can be so unorganised/uniformed. I've already experienced it a number of times. First of all the social security centre wrongly arguing with me about whether I was entitled to work or not (they assured me over and over that I can legally work in the US... SMH). Then the DMV telling me I couldn't get a license without a green card (essentially), despite their very own website saying I could use the NOA1 along with my visa/ I-94 as proof of legal presence. 
 
Anyway, I do have some good news.... I got my hard copies for AP and AOS on Saturday... still waiting on the EAD though  Not too worried because I got the 3 texts and emails.

Biometrics all done, appointment was at 9am and I was out by 9:15.
 
I was worried about bringing my phone because I know it states on the letter that they aren't permitted. I needed to bring mine because I needed to get public transport there and back and I had no idea where I was going without my phone. Anyway I got there and the security said you 'do you have a phone' I said yes and he just shook his head and said go put it in the car,  it states it on the letter. I told him I called a week ago and was told as long it was turned off and in my bag I was fine. He said OK let me just see your phone is off and then let me pass by.  
 
Apart from that it was painless ☺

I’ve recently joined this little team of support. We sent my aos, ead, and ap on February 17, and it was delivered on the 20th. So far we haven’t heard a peep back yet so we’re stressing a little, but trying to be chill about it. Good luck to you all and if we have any updates I’ll let you guys know

NOA1 Received - 2/27/18
Biometric Letter Received- 3/2/18

Received all 3 NOA’s for AOS, AP and EAD. Never did get a text or email. Checked junk folder too. Now just waiting for some motivated worker to process it

Just received the texts! 
 
Application was sent 13th feb and that’s the date for the ap.
 
however for ead and greencard it’s 27th feb! 
 
Just glad it’s all being done

No text, no email no congratulatory phone call saying they are going to just approve everything without all that silly waiting. 😉
I did sign up for Usps informed delivery and just got an email from them and I have three envelopes coming from USCIS national benefits center today!!!!

Happy to see most of K1 April and May filers here  
 
I sent my package on Feb 23rd and it was delivered Feb 26th, only 2 days ago 
 
Now "the usual waiting" has started

Well sometime over the weekend USCIS decided to cash the check!  Now just waiting for the all mighty text or email notification and then the paper NOA!  Finally some action on our case

received bio appointment as well for March 6.
We will try and get it done on March 2.

So glad things are moving right along!!!! Happy for you guys....

Received Biometrics letter in the mail today; set for March 9th.  I was surprised that we got the letter and appointment so quickly, reading in the other monthly topics it looked like the biometrics letters were coming about a month after received date.
