  1. Are you and your fiance first cousins? Are you the US citizen?
  2. It doesn't matter if it changes or not. It doesn't even matter if the CBP officer stamps "CR-1" in the passport at POE. The 2 year vs 10 year card will be determined by USCIS using your marriage certificate and entry date.
  3. If true, someone at ABC should be prosecuted for election interference.
  4. Debate moderator Linsey Davis, Kamala Harris both Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority members (nypost.com)
  5. The ABC moderator is member of the same sorority as Kamala?
  6. The situation was already resolved.
  7. That is affirmative. I've seen numerous comments complaining about it.... although I don't know how widespread it is.
  8. From what I have seen, the G-1145 is inconsistent.
  9. Right now, you are inside the US. You can apply for AOS. #2 would apply only if you left the US before filing to adjust status.
  10. ASAP (if you have a marriage certificate). There is no need to wait. There is no 90 day rule.
  11. 1. You cannot travel outside the US , by any means, after filing an I-485 until you receive an approved advance parole document (3 to 6+ months). Doing so would abandon the I-485. 2. If you leave the US before filing an I-485, you cannot enter the US via the B2 with the intent to stay and adjust status.
  12. For example, making false statements at POE. Otherwise, you are fine with adjusting status. Here is the appropriate guide:
  13. Unmarried Sons and Daughters of US citizens whose I-130s were filed on Oct 22, 2015 or earlier are just now receiving available visa numbers. Visa Bulletin For October 2024 (state.gov)
  14. Where are you right now? If you are currently inside the US, you can concurrently file an I-130 and an I-485 (as long as you didn't misrepresent yourself at POE). Be aware that you cannot work in any way or leave the US for up to 6 months or more until you have proper authorization. If you are currently outside the US, your US spouse can begin the spousal visa process by filing an I-130.
  15. Topic locked per OP request.

  17. OK. Thanks. That is exactly how wife's account looked before the N-400 interview letter was posted. I would guess you'll see it posted soon. I had never signed up for any alerts, so I am not sure about any lag time. Time to start preparing for that combo interview!!!! Good luck...
  18. You don't have any metters posted under "Documents" in your USCIS account? That's where I saw my wife's N-400 interview letter first.
  19. Great. Good Luck from the east DFW area.
  20. IRS Transcripts are available online. Alternatively, you can use a copy of the 1040 tax return package along with W-2s.
  21. The First Step Act, reforms that make our justice system fairer. Creation of Space Force. U.S. oil production reached an all-time high. The U.S. became the world’s largest producer of crude oil. The U.S. is now a net natural gas exporter for the first time since 1957. Allowed drug imports from Canada. Created the White House VA hotline to help veterans. Federal employees/military pay increased by 3.1 percent. Small businesses are allowed to group when buying insurance. Increased funding for historically Black colleges and universities. The poverty rate fell to a low of 11.8 percent. Poverty rates for African Americans are at an all-time low. Arrested 1,588 criminals associated with human trafficking. The first Arab country pact with Israel in 25 years (United Arab Emirates). NATO allies increased their defense spending. Moved U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. New trade deal with Mexico and Canada. U.S. stock market hit all-time record highs. Over a dozen U.S. hostages freed. Made historic official visits to China and North Korea. Opportunity Zones are designated in 8,764 communities across the country. Right-To-Try allows terminally ill patients to try experimental treatments. There was $6 billion in new funding to fight the opioid epidemic.
  22. You parents' cases are separate entities. There is no connection between the two. If different USCIS service centers are involved, it makes any comparison even more invalid. On average an I-130 takes about 14 months for approval according to Visa Journey statistics. It looks like you are not far from that average. I would expect approval soon if there were no other issues. Hopefully, you will receive good news soon.
  23. Harris wants full, publicly funded medical care for every illegal who crosses our border. Who is going to pay for that? My question is: When are we going say "Enough is enough"??
