  1. hi guys I have a  question to ask,any help will be appreciated. I applied for my mom i130 on June 17 2020,online,and i just just checked and I see I have received to add more Evidence, but the letter only stated my name saying I submitted my birth certificate in English only, and they want me to submit the original in foreign language and the English language. So my question is do I only upload the responses online or sent them only via mail or do both.

Thanks guy good luck for everyone..😀😀😀

As an experienced visajourney's member and knowledgeable of immigration laws; I never thought that I will be writing this. I will not be ending the N400 journey with you all. I have tried, I have tried, and have tried. Well, marriage has crashed and will file under the 5yrs rule when eligible. N400 application will be withdrawn when interview is scheduled to be safe. Not yet divorced, still under the same roof, never moved out, and (4) months  to USCIS' completion time. Congratulations to all those approved, and best of luck to those waiting to be scheduled. Thanks @Vikingoutwest for keeping the forum alive/ motivated.

Sorry to heard that I will keep keep you in my prayers!!!its what God decided to happened!thanks alot for help!we been missing you into this forum😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏

Had my combo I-751/N-400 interview today. Was called almost immediately after checking in, on time (actually a few minutes before). I asked if my wife needed to be there (she is due any day now), and the officer asked her to join along.

The I-751 interview happened first. Most of the time was spent going over my answers to the form, along with a couple questions about our travels and the circumstances of our meeting and some timelines. No questions about finances, and was not asked for any of the updated documents (tax returns, finances, bills, photos etc). My wife answered maybe a question or two.

Next was the N-400 portion - my wife stayed in the room for this. Civics test first (6 questions), reading and writing, and then went over the N-400 form again where i basically answered all the yes/no questions again.

Concluded by saying that my I-751 would need to be adjudicated in the system first before i could be approved. So verbally said that i was approved for both, but my receipt paper says "A decision cannot be made at this time". Said that it would be a month or two before my oath ceremony could be scheduled.

Very straightforward and was in and out in about 30 mins.

As an aside, my 2 year GC as well as extension letters were returned back to me (i thought i read somewhere that they held on to these...)

Congratulations .I'm in the same case as u,did you ever get updated on yr i751 case?did u received 10yrs green card befr go the oath?me and my wife got combo interview, now after 2weeks I got scheduled for oath ceremony  but i751 still pending...thanks

Hello. Not sure if this happened with anyone else.

Applied for I 751 in March 2017. Applied for N400 March 2018. Passed N400 interview in November 2018. RFE for all marriage evidence docs in Jan 2019. Responded within a week. N400 approved in June 2019. Became citizen in July 2019. No update to I 751, USCIS website shows 'Transferred to Local Office', so still open. Got the US Passport within a day due to travel to Canada. No issues at the border.

I 751 inquiry response was waiting for security checks.

What u mean i751 inquiry response was waiting for security checks?

Hey, everyone. I had my citizenship interview a little over 3 weeks ago. It was a combo interview actually. I already received my 10 year green card. But to this day no update on n 400. Still on interview was scheduled. I wrote a letter to an officer who interviewed me but so far no response. Has anyone had similar issue and what can be done. I have travel plans in the beginning of fall and now it looks like i will not be able to make it...

Congratulations for ur green card, I don't have answer fr yr question, but I would like to ask u questions too,how long u received yr 10yr green card after the interview,???I got combo interview to a week ago, still didn't receive my 10yrs green card, and the IO told me he approved both and I should get 10yr green card..thanks

Good luck @maestro for the interview tomorrow.

I had my oath ceremony yesterday and can officially say that I'm now a US citizen.

I got there at 8AM (what the letter said to be at the location) and walked out with my certificate around 11:15AM - there were a lot of waiting before and after the ceremony. The actual ceremony started around 10 and was around 45m.

Congratulations happy for you!and thank you

@maestro yes, my husband and my little boy went with me, we were ready if they wanted to do combo interview. When the officer came to pick me my husband asked are we all going, then he said "no" only she comes with me. But once i went inside he explains me that my I751 file with them and a colleague of him have to approve it separately. I saw my folder on his table.

I was reading a lot before this process and we were pretty much ready for anything they want. We both teach at University and it's summer break for us, but I know it's not same for everyone and some people have hard time taking a day off :(. I saw somewhere online saying you can request a combo interview, but don't know how and when to do it, sorry about that. My personal opinion is take your partner with you. My officer said "oh you guys have a baby, that's a big evidence" and I'm sure he record it somewhere ( when i file my I751 my baby was 5 days old and i didn't include him in my application) and things move fast.

    Hope this helps :)

Thanks for yr reply, I appreciate. Sure I will take my wife with me, she if that day!!.
