    Hi, can someone help me who is gone through or is going through Mumbai. what forms are you recieveing in your packet 3? and how long are the waits between packet 3 and interview? Thanks and good luck to everyone. :thumbs:

    My fiance had gone to the embassy to drop DS-230 Part I, as we still didn't receive the Packet 3 in the mail. The guy there was so nice that he handed him the packet 4 along with an interview date without even asking. So, He'z scheduled for AUGUST 23, 2006... DAYUM !!!!! IT WENT TOOOOO FAST for me. We thought we would have to wait another 2 months or so.... but nahhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well, mine was approved on the 7/21 and got touched on 7/22 and NVC received 7/27.... as you can see in my timeline !!!! I had read it somewhere that CSC don't send files straight to the EMBASSY any longer.. but yeah WHEN I CALLED THE NVC THEY SAID THEY DON'T KEEP THE K-1 THERE FOR MORE THAN WEEK....

    A few questions about the G-325a form

    Hello, I have a question about the G-325a form. I am filling this form out to bring my wife from the Philippines. She has never been in the USA or outside the Philippines. I looked at the example on this website, but it did not apply to my situation.

    In the upper right-hand corner there is a box to put the File Number A??? Do I leave this blank for now or somehow request a number?

    [/b]Well, since she doesn't have one... so yes u need to leave it blank !!!

    Also, in the box with the thick border it asks for the Alien Registration Number. Again, do I leave this blank for now or somehow request a number?

    well, im sailing in the same boat.... since your file has just gotten approved wait for a couple of days... because NVC won't have your file .... but will receive it in 3-4 business days.... you can call them at 1-603-334-0700... to find out whether they have received your case, if yeah, they will give you a new case number ...

    Congratulations !!!!!

    Just yesterday I was wishing everyone luck in getting an approval. I must have checked my status 6 times today and just when I was about to turn off my PC, I got an email of approval! I'm really shocked and I'm really sorry that some of you waiting longer than me didn't get notice. :(

    It is off to the next stage for me. :dance:

    I heard someone saying that they need the original's. don't know whether it is true or not.

    The petition Approval Notice? Why would you send that to your alien fiance(e)?

    What happens If you send the original to your fiance and it gets lost in the mail.... would they still accept the copy of it.

    To my knowledge, you will need the TAX RETURNS RECORDS THAT U FILED.

    and Its on packet 4

    i would like someone to answer a couple of questions...

    im new to the process you could say:

    will i definately need 3 year tax records or just copys of my w-2's.

    i might have read that wrong not sure.

    is that on packet 3? or packet 4 ?

    im totally confused on those packets can someone explain them

    in detail.

    will they send everything needed in those packets....

    I know the passport verification document is required from all individuals.

    what i meant to ask you was this .... because u stated that your fiancee was asked to submit a doctument saying that her passport is original or valid (whatever). Is that for all the individuals or not?

    Alright... Let me see if I can answer all the questions. Please forgive me if I miss your question.

    Not necessarily in order!

    1: The passport verification document is required from all individuals.

    2: I didn't go to India for the interview. I wish I could but just got a new job so couldn't go. Besides, the American Citizen or for that matter anyone else cannot enter the embassy. If you go there, you will be asked to wait outside.

    3: She got two recepits..... gave one to the Embassy and kept one herself.

    4: The wait between when the NVC forwarded the case to India and the interview was 1 month and 30 days!
