well, mine said as early as NOVEMBER 16, 2006 (and I did freak out then) but, look hey.... ITS APPROVED !!!!! just waitin for them to transfer mah freaking file to NVC ... hope they do it SOON !!! fingers crossed.

I thought the amount that you need to send was $170 not $190

waited, waited and waited for the oath ceremony letter to come in the mail... but didn't receive one. and then I called the 1-800 number to find out??? and they don't tell you anything, n placed a request.. and then received a letter from them saying that my oath ceremony was on the december 2, 2005 and i missed. (tho never received the letter in the mail) how wuz i suppose to know??? soooon I received the letter, i rushed at the local office 01/04/2006 and explained my situation and the officer, then, forwarded my request to the supervisor, and received a call from the supervisor on feb 9, 2006 and finally gave me another date (05/12/2006). and FINALLY BECAME A US CITIZEN !!! LONG WAIT> and now waiting for mah fiance to join me HERE !!!!!!

Well, the good way to build up your credit is that to apply for a SECURED VISA CREDIT CARD. where you have to deposit up to 250.00 or more and that would be the credit limit of your card.

I got mine approved on 7/21/2006 from CSC.... but still waiting for the approval letter to come in the mail.

hopefully i receive it soon... and the nvc receives it soon ... dang ! does anyone know how long does it take for them to send the file to NVC???
