    No - so far nothing. We are checking the mail every day but so far nothing.

    I have the exact same issue! Entered March 3rd or so - so far nothing. I called my local office they didn’t see anything issued yet and told me to call back after April 20th (they said 6-8 weeks is normal 😞)

    Do you happen to know how long it usually takes when holding a physical package from the embassy upon entry For GC/ SSN to arrive? i wasn’t aware there was a difference 😓I figured they trigger it all right then and there when putting in the information

    I am guessing the consular officer was referring to a case in which she was not required to file taxes (for example certain disability compensation cases etc - in those cases you must write a written statement why you didn’t file and back it up with proof under what IRS exemption you fall) which happens but is rare. If she works she must file taxes generally - independent of where she works in the world.

    Thanks for the quick response! And that was immediately after requesting it through the portal? I did get a screen that they’ve received my request to schedule and they will get back to me but never an email confirmation… Yes, sorry it might be a little confusing. We filed for the I130 in 2016 and are now proceeding with our application.

    How did you end up solving the problem? Also - can you get the DL before having the SSN? If you only have 10 days before needing a California licensee surely the SSN won’t be there in time?

    Quick question about the Frankfurt DCF interview request: do you get an interview letter? I submitted the request to schedule an interview (as they requested me to) and haven’t heard anything in 10 days.

    Hi, has anyone had any experience with going through Dublin as a POE first entry with a CR1/IR1? We will be traveling with 3 young kids and the idea of not having to wait at immigration after a 15-20h trip sounds great. The last reviews are from the early 2000’ unfortunately. I would love to hear your experiences!
