Exactly! I brought so much during my husband's interview and some weren't even looked at nor requested but it's better to have them just in case! It'll be easier in the end! Good luck and God bless!

If your wife isn't working and isn't making enough money then you need a joint sponsor.

So here's the 2go packet that I opened:
This is also the 2nd packet that I also opened to get the passport:
Is this the visa packet? I am so nervous!
-
Yes, I think they're processing really fast lately to think that last Monday was a holiday. I'd give it 3-6 days to be sure. Good luck and God bless!

It really depends on your case. My husband had his interview last Friday and we picked-up his visa today. I read some posts saying they got theirs in 2 days and others taking even up to a month.

Sis I have a question, paano mo kinuha passport mo? I received the visa packet today but I don't know if I did it correctly. Yung 2go na plastic I opened it then may isa pang plastic for the passport and the envelope, I opened a little sa plastic to get the passport, is that okay? Or need ko pa reseal?

My son had a terrible cough during his medical. He also had phlegm but passed the medical! I think the only ones they're concerned about is primary or tuberculosis.

The brown envelope is not to be opened. There will be words to that effect printed in bold on it.
You have to open the envelope that had the passport in it because he needs to present the passport at the airport check in desk to get on the plane.
Did you open the brown envelope? If you did, you need to contact the embassy asap to have it re-sealed.
I opened the plastic carrying the envelope. I opened about 1/3 of the plastic but not the envelope, I just opened enough to get the passport but not the brown envelope. Is that okay?

I'm so concerned. I just got my husband's visa packet today and I was so excited to get his passport I kinda opened half of the plastic then I saw the warning. Here are the photos of my husband's packet:
How did you guys get your passport inside? I'm so scared!

Sounds good to me!

You'll be fine. I was out of the US for 2 years before I came back. As long as there were no crimes committed, you'll be fine

Yes agree! Just relax and not overthink! I don't think they can still change their decision. I think you're good to go!

The difference lies on the duration of your marriage. If marriage is over 2year then it is under IR, otherwise it is CR.
You can check this out:

Ohh.. I see! Thank you!!

We had our interview today and I just want to clarify some things. I am a USC with 2 kids who were previously on the IR2 category, but during the interview the pre-screener changed their status to CR2, is there any reason for the change? What is the difference between the IR2 and CR2? She then asked the I-864W for both kids, so is it safe to assume that they will both be USC upon entry? After the interview I checked the status on CEAC and it says ISSUED, does it mean that their petitions are approved? My husband was just given the violence pamphlet and we were asked to register our mailing address on ustraveldocs, but we weren't asked to go to another window, does it mean that everything's okay? I'm just being extra anxious! Thank you everyone for the time!

I guess it's different per country. I clicked the page you sent and the prices are already listed there. Those are the vaccines you'll most likely need
-
I think the vaccines are already included in the medical fee? The only vaccines I could remember were the BGC (if he doesn't have a mark to show), Flu, Influenza, Varicella, Mumps?

This forum has been of great help to me and I just want to thank those who take time to reply to my posts. Okay, I just want some clarifications on this question. With regards to the assets, should I still write them even though they won't be enough? We're a family of 4 with assets just a little over $60k, this won't be enough which is why my sister in California agreed to be our sponsor. Do I still need to write our savings and stocks even if they won't be enough to cover?
Also.. if some of our accounts are joint, do I divide them in half for my husband's I-864? How about for our kids?
Thank you everyone for the patience!

Hi everyone! I just want to ask about health insurance for new immigrants to the US, I have 2 small kids below 5 y/o and I just wanna make sure that they're covered in case of minor injuries or whatever. What would you guys recommend? Thank you!

Hi everyone! I have a question, so I'm almost done with the DS-260 and I was just wondering how I could schedule an appointment so that my husband and our kids' appointments are scheduled on the same time? Do I need to create a profile for each one of them on the ustraveldocs website?

Hi everyone! I just got my case number for my husband and kids! I am now wondering how to proceed?
Should I register for the medical or do I need to schedule for the visa interview first?
Where do I go to schedule for the visa interview?
Thank you!

Hi everyone! I am finalizing the I-864 and I just stumbled upon some questions:
Is this the income tax transcript that they're requesting for or is this different from the Income Tax Transcript? Is this copy okay to bring with me on the day of the interview? Or should I have the one requested from the IRS?
Also, which income should I put? Is it the 56,188 or 58,291? (see picture below)
Thank you everyone for the patience!
