My husband got vaccine assestment, because he did not have the vaccine records at the moment of the medical examination in Colombia prior to the interview, so when he came to USA, his mom found his vaccines records she scanned it and emailed it to us, we took it to the Civil surgeon and he transferred the vaccines info into the I-693 form, he gave us a sealed envelope and copies for our records, we then sent the enclosed envelope with the AOS application and the DS3025. if your spouse does not have any vaccine records, he will then get blood work to determine if he has antibodies, this is done for MMR and Varicella. If titters are negative he will have to get the shots. he will need to get TDAP and Flu shot vaccines in additional to MMR and the TDAP... the reason why I know this, is bacause i work for a civil surgeon and my job is related to I-693...

I figured the Vaccine process and the civil surgeon made it easy by requesting 2 vaccines and he will do the 1-693 my worries now is about the DS3025 since we didn't get it at the medical exam or POE.

Did she not receive a copy? The civil surgeon can draw titers which will show if she’s been vaccinated/immune and will know if she needs the vaccinations. Also- for others reading this for the future- it’s usually cheaper to get the vaccinations done overseas and not in the US. I understand not all countries may have the vaccines, however.

No copies unfortunately. I believe the medical exam was inside the envelope giving to the officer at Port of entry.

  4. Hello,

My wife entered the united states under k1 visa and while she was completing the medical exam overseas , she was told to take the vaccination when she arrive to the united states. Now I'm kinda confused because we have no record of her finishing her medical exam and I'm not sure what kind of vaccination she needs to take. any advise will be appreciated . thank you

    Hey everyone,

Our embassy interview is scheduled for Feb 24, 2019 in Cairo, and they sent us an email contains stuff we need to gather for the interview. Part of the email was as follows.

In these two paragraphs it was mentioned "Aramex registration" in the first paragraph, and "confirmation of address registration" in the second paragraph. Do these terms refer to the same thing, which is the confirmation my fiancé received upon paying fees and registering on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/eg   or not?. Thanks in advance.

    Did you figure this out?

If you find my information not helpful, please let me know. Either my answer to your question is from years of being here or they are factual and I will post the links so that you can verify or continue reading information that my be a little more in depth then what was said in my reply. You know, sometimes "you" just have to trust the system. This visa process is not hard to do. The hardest part you had was finding VJ. After that there are experts and others from your country who have experienced or have the answer to your question. Everything is here.

You know when someone ask a question, normally I have the answer. I cut and paste using OneNote my answer because it has been asked so many times before. I start ever month and the first thing that I post is tips, tricks and hacks to help you along the way. What frustrates me is that someone will ask a question that was just asked two or three post before. :girlwerewolf2xn:Or they don't follow the instructions from the post where it is explained. Or they disrespect me. I get PM's from other veterans here who ask me how I put up with some of the ####### they see from some of the participants in these thread that I work.  So pardon me if I am frustrated at times.

So, yes at times it is frustrating to me because it's usually the same ones who do not do their homework, do not read the thread or sometimes are just to lazy to use google to find their answer. So thank you for noticing but I'll continue to not always sugar coat my answers especially to those who don't do some of the heavy lifting. All the best to you. P.S. Please don't hesitate to ask a question if needed, I will answer if I have the information for you.

I'm glad we have you here @Greenbaum and thank you again.

Here is a listing of the 3 letter abbreviations. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/list-of-posts.html

There is no reason for her to call back. Sarge, never understood why people are always calling and then when the phone is not answered they're the first to complain they can't get through. IT'S BECAUSE YOU ARE CALLING TOO MANY TIMES FOR THINGS THAT ARE ANSWERED ON VJ WITH THE HELP OF THEIR MEMBERS IF YOU TREAT THEM WITH RESPECT.

Sorry Sarge, but that person is on my block list for just that reason but I had to opine along with your statement. Also is good with you and I.

@Greenbaum sometimes we are just worried or scared the unknown It's our human nature. After seeing many of your posts I understand your frustration and truly thank you for all the work you do here to help eveyone.
