My case is not expedited.
I never called to USCIS and called just once to NVC.
I sent No emails, no requests etc.
The only thing I did is prepared my I-130 and NVC docs very carefully, following step by step instructions. No extra documents, every document was in a separate yellow folder (I-130) and separate yellow folder on my laptop (for uploading to CEAC website).

My case is not expedited.

No translation is needed except at the petition filing stage, if the document is in the local language. Notable exceptions are China and French Documents for Canada.
