  Saying people brought here in the hold of a slave ship had the same dreams of optimism for a better future, and visions of happiness and prosperity as let's say you did, is just senseless. People who were ripped away from their families and children, brought to a horrible existence and worked till they died would not have that outlook. It was an absolutely awkward and insensitive way of saying it, and I'm sure Carson did not actually mean it to sound that way, but ultimately it did.

i seriously do not understand why trump supporters aren't taking "investigate all you need to" approach if in fact they're most certain russia wasn't meddling and doesn't have any dirt on trump. especially if they're going to grab the pitchforks whenever trump tweets them to. obama tapped trump? but of course obama did. obama has to release his birth certificate, trump gets a pass on taxes. obama takes vacation, how dare he! - trump takes vacation every weekend at this pay to hang out with prez club..he's restoring america's dignity. this is beyond hypocrisy its just straight up insanity.

You set the bar for lying very low for Trump and company, even in the face of incontrovertible recorded proof of lying. Yet for Hillary Clinton you needed the smallest wiff of inuendo and you are off to the races.

He was asked about Russia. He said no. Either his memory is poor or he knowingly lied under oath. He could have easily said "I spoke to the Russian ambassador as part of my current duties in the Senate" or something like that.

Really? You think Jeff Sessions "forgot" two meetings with the Russian ambassador? Really? Are you a Steve Martin fan? He has a great joke about how many times people allow themselves to get in trouble simply by failing to say two words. Two simple words in the English language. "I forgot." Here's an example: "I forgot armed robbery was illegal."

I can't understand that saying "deplorables" is the unforgivable but talking about grabbing kitty cats is just fine in the eyes of said deplorables. That along with the many other insults he has slung like dung. But here we go being fixated on deplorables ? For real ?

Even by your own description of it, the news is not "fake", it is just "not important" or "not unique to Trump". That is very different. You can complain about the bias of the news, but that doesn't equate to "fake".
 
It's like how they have been calling all the news about the leaks "fake news", and yet they are all pissing in their pants about the leaks. Clearly they aren't fake, they are just not what you want to see in the news.

If you were familiar with the construction business you would find that this really isn't unusual. For some strange reason contractors will go back and do more work for someone who owes them money. I think they do it with the hope of getting paid the back balance and for the new work.

   I suppose if he would just think before he speaks more often, you're right, there probably would be less cause for criticism. The boneheaded and inflammatory rhetoric is not the left's doing, it's Trumps, and he should be criticized for saying it. If he had it in him to be more of a statesman, it may not be this way, but he made his own bed.
