Good news a quick phone call to our service center and my wife was just honest with them. No problem, will reschedule and receive new date within 90 days.

They rescheduled without a problem. I realized some people wait a long time but I depends on where you live. The field office in out area is not backlogged. It only took 6weeks from the time we filed for her to get an interview. Everyone said it would take 8-12 months. So we plan to spend holiday with family. It happens, we were honest with the USCIS. Good luck with you case.

It doesn't hurt to ask the USCIS field office if she can get scheduled earlier (prior to Dec 12).

If there is no openings prior to Dec 12, then I suggest keeping the interview and contacting the airline to rebook.  Although non-refundable, they may allow you to change the dates with a fee.

Hey everyone, My wife was approved at AOS interview on july 25th. Arrived at 10:40am for 11:am interview. They called us in at 10:55. The immigration officer was very nice, she asked us to take an oath and then asked a few official questions date of birth date of marriage, arrival date of my wife and when we decided to apply for AOS. Then she asked us about when and how we met, looked at our photo album. We had not one document with both our names on it. I explained why she asked if we had any questions, we said no, she said ok you are approved.
14 weeks from start to finish of AOS received hard copy of approval on 28th. green card should arrive any day.
    God is so good.
    Good luck everyone.

Now I see you are filing K-1 we are all filing AOS. (adjustment of status) that is probably why your process is moving different than ours.

    Hi everyone!
My I-130 hasn't been approved yet but i'm scheduled for the Green Card Interview.. Is it normal interview before I-130 approval?
Also the letter for the interview says that i need to bring some documents like the medical examination which i did and sent with the AOS package... I need to do another medical just for the interview? They ask for the i-94 which mine expired in May 2015. Would it be an issue? We also already submitted the I864, do we need to bring all the IRS documents again?
