  3. has anyone had vaccinations done at a private doctor prior to going to St andrews hospital in kingston JA. Im referring to getting it done defore receiving appoint letter.was it accepted or not.

  4. Give some examples of the errors and why would a lawyer not go over the answer with her client before submitting the documents.?

I'm the wife of a us citizen. My spouse has included my son in the process ( step son). His fathers date of birth was requested and the dated n month is incorrect, time spent on last visit is incorrect. Laywer has 1 month, it should be one week. The lawyer did not contact me or my spouse to verify detail before submitting. We only got a mail after everything was already submitted.
  5. It is understandable that he can not get off while at a new job but what about the time he was unemployed ?

Probably the money for travel was not there then.

Fact is the CO will not care about the reasons why you could not have made an effort to be together for some visits and they have to

gauge your relationship by the real face time visits and not merely chats and phone calls.

It is what it is. Show all the reasons to the CO anyway, the cruise may help.

I suggest he take off for at least 5-6 days over Thanksgiving Holiday weekend where he can add 1-2 days, perhaps without pay.

Still not long enough but better than nothing and maybe you can schedule the interview during that time or after.

Otherwise you stand the chance that the petition will be returned to USCIS which would add 9-12 + months of a re affirmation

process. You are taking a gamble and should have waited to file until you were both more stable financially and got some visits

in. Right now it looks like a 50/50 chance. Thanks alot

Southwest can take him into Montego Bay, he can take 2 fays off for

the interview once you have the date. Knutsford Exp bus goes into

kingston from that airport, equipt with TV, restroom & wt-fi We

rode ot last yr it was comfortable, we got off in Ocho Rios.

    Thanks
  6. During the 2 year we haven't seen each other he was unemployed. Its only 3 months since he has been employed. However, I submitted phone records that show we talk every day. I have western union receipts also, envelops and parcel packages with stamps of things I've received in the mail. My marriage is genuine so I'm keeping faith that the Lord is going to work it out.

none of us could afford to see each other during that period as we were both unemployed. I've only being employed for 1 year now and upon making the decision to go and see him his lawyer says I would be taking a risk as there is no guarantee I would be granted entry by IM office. My husband has only been working 3 months now n he not entitled to time off just yet

  8. I've last seen my spouse, september 2014. In 2015 he suprisingly purchase a cruise for our first anniversary but we didn't get to take the cruise as our lawyer said it would be best if I wait in my home country as I would be taking the risk of being denied entry or not. We'll still be able to in the future as it's an open ticket and we had it updated. In 2016 of august he had planned to visit me but never got the chance as he got a job in July 2016 and would not be able to get the time off seeing he just started.our case is now at nvc so in a couple of months I'm thinking I'll be attending my interview.will lack of visiting each other affect my case. We have submitted all our evidences except for western union receipts. If ask at the interview about visits, I'll give the same explanation above. Any professional advise on this matter ?

  9. I filed a petition for my husband on march, it was approved on may, on june we recieved an email for the AOS and IV bill/packet. We are going on a 3 week holiday vacation this december so I'm stalling on paying the AOS/IV Bill and sending the packet so when it gets approve the interview date will not interfere with our vacation since plane tickets have already been purchased. ( I have up to a year to pay and send as/iv packet if I'm not mistaken?)

Now a few days ago we received some great news from my husband's boss that they will be hiring another staff, and the senior designer/engineer will be retiring soon which means a promotion for my husband (they don't know yet that I am petitioning him) and a big bonus due to overflowing projects that he is handling now... I am a stay at home mom and have yet to establish a career and the only reason that we decided to move to US is to be closer to my family as we don't have any other family member with us in canada. But financial stability is still very important especially now that we have a child. I know I'm just really ranting here but I'm confused and i really need to hear other peoples perspective on this.

Now if I cancel the petition what will happen? If we change our mind and live in canada instead, but say a few years later we decide to move back to US, will this cause any problem when I decide to petition him again?

I would suggest getting professional advise to be on the safe side.
  10. So I would certainly asks NVC for the appropriate answer on this matter. You can also contact your overseas consulate office for better information.

I did i-864 and i-864A. I got a job offer however I will not be starting until certain time so I did i-864A. I didn't mention anything about my job offer because it is irrelevant since I will not be starting soon. They only care about how and whether you can support the immigrating person. I have my brother helping me here so my case will not matter in this case. I kept it simple so that nothing takes long after that.

    thanks

  11. hi

for the co sponsor or household member, it has to be a direct family member living at the same house, neither co sponsor or joint sponsor will be interviewed, they just need the paperwork

it's the responsibility of the sponsor to find the joint sponsor if needed

what's important for immigration is that the joint sponsor meet the criteria of being above the poverty guidelines

    the person won't be interviewed

the nvc only receives the paperwork and makes sure that it is enough
