  1. No,you have to have the INN (Invoice Identification Number) along with your case number.Good news is you don't have to wait for their letter you can just call back and ask for it. :)

well, it seem like things have changed. I called n others too n were to it take 4 week to put case on the system after the received date. I call this morning again n was told they will notify me n instruct me on what next to do. All I was requesting was my case n indetification invoice #. This process is driving me crazy.?
  2. Thank you. I just dropped him off at the airport he's been here all week. He visits roughly every 3 months. Not personal at all and I will be as detailed as possible with my medical and interview when the time comes just look out for it. All the best with your journey.

Thank you....fingers crossed for you all.

    Thank you

thanks Sheri . I was just wonder if spouse not visiting will cause visa denial. I visited my husband twice before we got married so the last time seeing him was September 2014. We haven't seen each other since we got married n he has never been here.
  3. We need so much strength and patience for this journey.....We too were looking at being together within a year and now we're celebrating our 3rd anniversary April of this year and hoping it will be together this time.....We have been checklisted for our AOS on question 5 re household figure and the case number not being written on the right hand corner of documents and now another stretch of waiting has started maybe much longer than 60 days since it has not been received since our Jan 6th 2015 resent.

I do wish for all no checklist at NVC because this again dampens the spirit of seeing a light at the end of the tunnel shortly....Goodluck to all!

By the way...we started our visa journey Dec 2012.

did anyone of u visited each other during your 3 years of marriage and where r u now on your visa journey . Thanks
  4. After my marriage, we were only 4 months together and about 2 years no one visited each other. During interview, interview officer did not asked me anything about it and approved my visa. However for safety purpose I took all communication records printed (skype, whatsapp, google talk, message etc.) and also I took a lot of picture of our marriage ceremony and picture we took during that 4 months.

thanks. For sure I'll be able to provide phone records and recently I started using imo for vedio calling. Don't know if I'll b able to print imo calls.
  5. It all depends how long it has been since you saw each other. The whole evidence and interview is about the beneficiary convincing the CO you are real and bonafide. You are months away from a interview IO hope your husband can make it then.

We got married in July n then I stayed until September last year then returned home. I have a visa so I can travel but I'm told it's not safe to do so. It's best I wait here n allow him to visit.

  7. u r right. U will not be allowed to go in. You can journey to the embassy with him though, if he's faced with any difficulties during the interview he can make it known to the IO that my spouse is here . Then they will send n call u from the outside if they need u. All the best

PLEASE IGNORE. Thanks. Just realised I'm behind
  8. I've been here a year n my spouse has never visited me. He purchased a cruise for our Anniversay n I was unable to go as advise by our lawyer that it's best if I wait in Jamaica until process is complete, but we'll still b able to go though. Anyway he purchased A ticket to visit me in October but never came as he did not do proper planning n missed flight. I'm not sure if he will be able to visit before I get to interview stage. My concern is if I'll be denied visa as a result of none of us visiting each other since we got married. I can provide phone records that we communicate everyday. I'm now at Nvc stage. Any advise? Thanks in advance

  9. Actually am looking up tickets but to my understanding. I am not allowed at the interview.

  10. Wife case was complete on the 10, sep , but was put on hold waiting on step child case to complete step child case has been complete but put on hold till wife case is complete, talk to officer tonight and was told both cases have been put on hawk waiting on on each other to complete because office who completed stepson case didnt check to see if other case was completed, all he did was left a note saying case is link to another that is waiting to be completed so officer said he sent a request for a officer to call me , and sent memo to supervisor that both of these cases are completed and are put on hold waiting on the other, what a mess

Did embassy required a letter from biological father so that the child could migrate with his mother. My lawyer ask for one. I'm the mother of the child, married to a us citizen. I've never been married before so it not that we part n the court granted custody to any of us. We just had a relationship, parted, n I decided to keep the child.
  11. Still waiting for approval

A week ago I made the same comment n one member suggested that I call, however I ask my lawyer n she did a status request n I was approved the following day after the request. Even if u are not using a lawyer you can still call n enquire. I've read a couple comments where persons have done that n they were approved the same/next day. Give it a try. One thing though, I waited until it was fully 5 months since that's the time frame given by uscis for approval even though some are approved in a shorter time frame.
