  1. As I said, none of us has legal custodgy to child but child has been living with me prior to been here. I don't know how he plan to live he, don't know if he's seeing anyone here. I was considering, allow child to travel without green card. That way the child would have to return as he wont be able to do anything without it. Don't know if this make sense.

  2.  I recently moved to USA with child, filed for by my spouse. However the child's dad have been communicating with child about coming to live in the states and will be taking him when he gets here. None of us has legal custody but the child has been living with me, the mother since he was 2. If the dad comes here to live I don't have a problem for child to visit him, however I want him to return to me. What can I do to ensure that this is done ? Can I  ask custom borders to inform dad upon arrival that child must return to address to which he was admitted in the states ?

I don't know under what condition his dad will be here but I'm concern about the environment he may be in and his upbringing so I'll rather he stays with me. Your help is appreciated.  Thanks

so now  am not sure where my interview will be  if it will be lawrence MA which serves my county but is almost 2 hour drive ,

or  Boston MA which is 1/12 hour drive,

or Hartford Ct only 45 min drive

and what would be the time frame for Lawrence if I have to go there, anyone know ?

Depends on where your POE is.  My husband had his in FLL.  They were very nice.  Things moved quickly ans smoothly.

Remember media loves to hype stories up with dramatics.  Many news reports are opinionated slants, take them with a grain of salt.

    Thanks

  5. I'll be leaving to take up residence in the USA soon on a CR1 visa. I'll leave on a connecting flight, however I would like persons to share there experience of what the process is like upon reaching CBP. I also have an envelope received from the embassy that I must present to CBP. To be honest, I'm going with mixed feelings as there has been recent flare ups of racist experience in the news.

Hi, did you have your IV ? What happened with the documents ? Thanks

I did interview n the only original documents asked for was birth certificate.  I'm now in administrative processing awaiting approval.

  7. I did interview Feb 6, 2016 .As a result of being on a work program in UK for 9 mth, CO said I need a police cetificate from UK because I was there for more than 6 mths. I applied and got police certicate Feb 14 and sent it to embassy via dhl. They received it and case was updated feb17, then Feb 22 and Feb 24, yet my case still says administrative processing. I don't understand why my case is been update, yet the status remain the same. What does this mean ?

  8. Do I need to take the entire interview letter including the checklist or do I just take the letter itself when I'm going for my medical just asking cuz I read somewhere where it says to take the antenna to be on the safe side

Hello everyone so I did my interview at Jamaica embassy on  Dec 14 on my Medical was outstanding at the time that reach the embassy the Dec 21th but now I been told I have to do a second interview can it be because I fale my medical am so worried

I'm concerned seeing that you had to do second interview because of medical delays. My interview  is February 6 and when I called st. Andrews hospital they told me that they are very busy n the closest  date I could get is February 3. I'm now thinking I might have to return for a second interview.  I hope not.

When they request for a copy of any document its not required for it to be in colored. Black and white copy is fine. All mine were in black and white.

    Thanks

What are you trying to say?

Sorry, my hand hit button before I was complete. There is another the ad with same topic, read n you'll see my concern. Thanks

    • Does Jamaica embassy accepts black not white photocopies like naturalization certificate and confirmation letter . I already have copies in black not white and would not copy in coloured if it's not a problem.

  12. I have created my account on this site that requires me to register for DHL Courier Service however I did not complete the process as my computer went down immediately after creating the account only. I've  try to sign in to complete the process however it says that my email and password is invalid. I've request to change my password however It will not allow me to to change, can I use a different email address create a new account and complete the process. Would it create a problem.

Yes its the same, also don't worry if your appointment is before 9 am and you only see that time available on the DHL website.

After the DS-260 was submitted you should have gotten a confirmation email. The attached PDF file will have it on the bottom.

     Confirmation no:

Another way to find it is logging in to ceac where you filled out the DS-260 application. At the top right click on IV application then at the top right click on Sign at the bottom you will find the Confirmation no:

    Thanks a mill
