Have you applied for your police report yet? I'm wondering if I should get it Norwegian or English (I think you have to pay to have it translated?)
There's a specific police report tailored for US immigration. You can order it online, arrives in a few weeks and doesn't cost a krone. Remember that it needs to be "fresh" at the time of interview.

There's a bunch of us, at various stages of the immigration timeline:
Unless it has changed (it's been nearly two years since I went through the K1 process), you need to have completed the necessary vaccines and boosters before your appointment with the immigration physician. The X-ray needs to be completed at Unilabs Majorstua. The blood work can be done at fastlegen, but must be analysed at Ulleval sykehus. You'll need a requisition from the panel physician to complete both of those.

A "visa run" is not likely to be successful, and impossible if she tries to return from Canada or Mexico. If she is within the first VWP 90 days, she will only be allowed in for the remaining days. If she stays out until it's expired, she'll be under the scrutiny of CBP to prove she is not living in the US (which it appears she is). Most likely, she will be turned away at the border. If she refrains from lying to immigration officers, the denied entry will not be a problem for the K1 process.

You have plenty of evidence.
If your spouses financial situation has changed, that mat come up. Therefore, I would definerively bring a new affidavit and evidence.
If the medical is less than one year old and vaccinations marked complete, you shouldn’t need to bring anything for that.

If she's currently unemployed, her current annual salary is 0. She'll need assets, or you'll need a co-sponsor to fulfill the requirements for sponsorship.

It's not forgiven, but overlooked when she files for AOS based on marriage to a USC. She should however quit her job now, as I'm sure neither of you want to risk her F1 being cancelled for not obeying the terms of the visa.

Filing married jointly or married separately is both fine, as long as neither of you filed as single.

Not everyone receives the reminder.

Given that you're from the UK and you have a history of reasonably short and well spaced trips - I think you will be ok. Bring a letter from your employer that confirms the extended vacation and the day they expect you back. Also bring your apartment/house rental agreement if applicable.

The i94 is electronical and you can find it here after entry: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home
Some people on this thread are referring to the customs declaration form, which you do get on the airplane and fill out, except for at airports where there are automated kiosks available for this purpose.

They may check at any stage. In reality, they rarely do.
-
Also be aware that you might get an AOS/GC interview, and will need to be able to return to the US to attend this if that happens.
-
You're fine. I also only got the first page copy from the K1 medical, and my AOS was approved without comment.

You're both right, but she would be taking a huge risk if she doesn't apply as soon as possible. She has no legal presence and is deportable. Furthermore, she cannot travel abroad not work until she applies and obtains documentation.
She'll need to file i130 in addition to the i485, since she is not eligible to file based on her K1 visa.

Do the one that comes with the EAD (aka combo card) is the normal one right? Is not a emergemcy one? (I'm sorry for all the questions I'm just want to make sure I'm doing things the way they need to)
Yes, it's the normal one. It's really no problem to use it for a short trip abroad (did it myself). Just make sure you don't miss your AOS interview.

Yes, the "regular" AP can be used for any travel purpose without issue. Emergency AP will only be granted for emergencies.

Hi,
I am about to send off for my I-131, I have already had my biometrics for I-485/EAD (a month ago).
Just checking, when I send my I-797C, should it be the one with the Biometrics appointment on it? I didn't receive a separate one. I also received a request for initial evidence for my I-485. Obviously I have satisfied that as my case is ready to be scheduled for interview. Should I include that RFE letter as well?
Other than that it sounds like, Passport page (also the K1 page?) and 2 photos. Some people have mentioned I-94, some haven't. My I-94 has expired. Should I send it as well?
Thanks!
Adam
I94 is used to prove that you last entered the US legally, I would include it. Also include your K1 and copy of the entry stamp.
It should be the very first i797c for your i485 case, the notice of acceptance. It would've arrived before the biometrics letter.
RFE information is not relevant.

Usually biometrics comes very early, before any case processing.
-
Answered honestly. No extra fuss. No questions asked. GC approved. This was recently, as you can tell from my timeline.
Filing taxes was harder, but not impossible.
-
When your other evidence is solid, affidavits are not at all important.
Everything needs to be in papir format. Electronic submissions are not accepted (data security). Albums or other "bulky" items are not acceptable either, everything needs to be easily disassembled and scanned by the CO.
-
If the fee is incorrect, the application will be returned to you without prosessing. You'll have to resubmit the application with the correct fee.

Ohhhh
Does not work that way.
Lol, yes.
Or, please inform me how it does not work that way. This topic is very intriguing from a legal perspective, and I'd love to hear your interpretation of the law. I've researched the borderline between immigration, employment and tax law to reach my conclusion. Maybe you have some other perspective?
Interview / Minor Child

If you are talking about the beneficiary fiance (K1 applicant), any children that is seeking K2 will also have to attend the interview, yes.
