  1. If your documents are in Turkish, send them in as they are.

If your documents are in English, send them in as they are.

If your documents are in any languages other than Turkish or English, send them in along with a certified translation.

US embassy in Ankara accepts applications for Turkish, Iranian and Syrian nationals. Therefore they have this requirement which confuses Turkish applicants. The official language of the country is Turkish and you are good to provide docs in Turkish. Iranians & Syrians should include English translations.

If you are Turkish and you have docs, for instance your divorce decree is in German, then you should include English translation as well.

Certified translation: In Turkey translators who are registered with a notary has a certification they are competent to translate from/to English/Turkish. They attach this to the translation. Ask the translator and they will understand.

    Hope that helps.

  2. It's been 41 days and still no word from uscis regarding approval or rfe. I am becoming anxious. I called uscis and this clueless girl said it takes about 5 months for approval. And I told her not the whole thing but the noa2 and she said yea it takes 5 months usually for a noa2.

I'm seriously losing hope on ours

we're not that complicated people to search deeply for months! we just want to be a family and wake up to each other

  3. Same sent date, same NOA1 date, and now, SAME NOA 2 date!!! :D:D:D

I sent a sad text saying "better luck tomorrow" to my fiance before going to bed, he just sent me a text 2 hours ago (he`s at work) saying "i got something that might put a smile on your face :)" then added the picture of our approval notice in a whatsapp text.

I am shaking head to toe I can`t believe we made it over the first hurdle!! :D

    Patience gets rewarded!

    Petition sent: June 9th

    Petition received: June 11th

    NOA1: June 15th

    NOA2: July 23rd

    Time NOA1-NOA2: 38 days

I`m probably one of the happiest girls to walk this planet right now.

We expected an RFE for something I forgot to add on my G-325A(I accidentally put none as last address outside the usa, although I`m the benificiary and have always lived in Belgium) so we got ready for an RFE, I`m so happy our adjucator was in a good mood!!

Hoping for a speedy approval for all who`s still waiting!!

So happy for you two :) Congrats!!!

Looks like you don't need the app I was talking about yesterday anymore lol

  4. I check on uscis case status is that where the person I quoted checked the numbers before and after their number?

Appstore link is here if you are using an iphone:

USCIS Case Tracker & Searcher by Stephen Aldous https://appsto.re/tr/2CF82.i

You are able to add case numbers that you want to follow. Also a search option avaliable

It drives me nuts though ?

  5. So i Just woke up and cried!!! I HAVE MY NOA2!!!!!! After long 44 days!!! But I finally have it!!!!!

    Congrats!!!

I have this app on my phone and everyone before and after us got approved. We've been left the only petition states "received" among like 50 petitions :(

So happy for the others cause I can relate, we are in the same situation, but wouldn't it be nice if we were happy as well? Anyways, it's what it's... We do keep waiting (im)patiently...

  6. No they don't make differnece! They don't care if military or not!! I only can hope for this or next week! We will see! Nobody has to understand that system they have :D

I know a couple of friends of mine who were expedited. their fiances got overseas orders and would leave the states in about a month or so plus they were sitting in line at TSC forever, 4-5 months.

I mean, that works, but you should really prove that they should grant it to you, sending out your official overseas order is one of the ways.

but anyways, we'll not need it! Let's keep being positive...We'll be approved in a week or less

  7. Yeah I know! Being really stressful, wanna be with him before he gets order to the new duty station! That means need to be with him in October! Little bit afraid that this won't work! Hope so much for noa2 this week! And thx for the words guys !!! :)

But there are still people waiting from April... Hopefully we won't be one of those

I assume your fiance is in military. If he'll be stationed overseas, there is an expedite option, you guys may consider that.

  8. No RFE or NOA2 yet, although I don't expect it until the first week in August.

When will you guys send the next package to your fiance (or when will they be sending it to you)? I read that you should send it right when you get the NOA2 hard copy so that you can include a copy of that, plus any RFE's, etc.

John's birthday is in a few weeks, so I was going to send him all the info, plus a nice gift, but I don't want to be waiting around for the NOA2. Maybe I can just scan a copy for him that he can print out and add to the packet.

Luckily, my fiance was here in Izmir/Turkey when we completed the file so we made 3 exact copies : 1 sent to USCIS, 1 for fiance and 1 for me. My copy has also the wet signatures on all docs so it's actually an original file :)

Fiance will send me the NOA1 & NOA2 and address change confirmation letter (this is specific to us) along with "statement of intent to marry" addressed to the embassy in Ankara. He'll also send me his latest pay stubs cause I already have I-134 Affidavit of Support form readily in hand.

It makes me excited to see that early June filers are started to be approved and our NOA1 date is 06/16. Can't wait!!!

  9. It is good news. We were in a similar situation.

Our interview was April 27th. We had a 221g for a missing police clearence. We recieved it and sent it back early June.

    June 10th: AP

June 24th: Ready with a new CC date and change from immigrant to non immigrant

    June 25th: AP

    June 29th: ISSUED

You will probably have a visa really soon.

    Hi there,

Just checked your timeline and wondered why did it take so long to have your interview after your NOA2? I mean, if there are personal issues for the delay, it's okay but my concern is if it is because of consular delays or so...

We have filed 129F for my fiancee and waiting for NOA2 and trying to estimate a date for her arrival to the US.

Any other information about the embassy stage in Ankara would be really appreciated.

Blessings on you & your fiance

    Regards

    Roy
