some people say their file was "touched" somewhere between NOA1 and NOA2.
Whenever I check USCIS website, even created an account, I see nothing but the "we received your petition, bla bla bla..." msg
Is that weird or what?

Okay, here it is... we received hard copy NOA1 on 06/23/15.
It says:Received date:06/12/15
Notice date: 06/16/15
As I asked earlier, which one is the NOA1 date?

We received NOA1 notice by SMS on Jun,17th at 4 pm
)) We ended up in CSC!! Hopefully, we'll all get our approvals asap!Can anyone ,who got their hardcopy NOA1, tell me if NOA1 date is the date they received our package or the date they sent the SMS?? what is it written on the hardcopy?

I've heard that DVDs aren't allowed so they may return that to you. You definitely front loaded your petition though! You even sent things that weren't needed till the interview, I'm just as over prepared too lol. I saw that your fiancé is active duty military, mine is as well. Good luck!!
Never heard that DVDs weren't allowed but whatever, we've already provided lots of things to prove our relationship is bona fide. Like I said before, we've chosen to be overly prepared rather than being sorry later
Question : Does anyone know if there are any plus sides of being active duty? I mean security clearance,etc...There's a hotline number for military service members on USCIS website. We've called them but they seemed to be very unfamiliar to the process so couldn't get any healthy information.
Another question: My fiance is currently stationed in Utah and sent our petition from there. But, soon, he'll be moving to Syracuse, NY. He'll change our address online later... Since the current address is in Utah, our petition is to be directed to TSC supposedly. But, I've heard that all applications were being forwarded to CSC recently due to the fact that TSC is overloaded.
NY applications must be forwarded to VSC.
My question is... What will happen to our file when we change the address from UT to NY? Will it still be processed at CSC or forwarded to VSC?
Hope someone can answer...

I`m pretty sure for low fraud countries like yours and mine, that is just fine. I didn`t include a package receipt but I did include a few chat logs. Did not include the affidavit of support etc either I have read that is something we`ll have to bring to the interview. I`m not sure if people from high fraud countries have to include all of that for the i-129f though, but yours sounds fine to me.
All we have included was:
- payment of 340 dollars
-G-1145
- I-129F
- Attachment to I-129F (explanation of meeting in person)
-Both our G-325A`s
- Both our passport style photo`s
-Petitioner`s Birth certificate and all pages of his US passport
- Both our letters of intent to marry
- Proof of having met in person (photo`s, passport stamps, boarding passes, and a few receipts to link our photo`s with)
- Proof of ongoing relationship ( skype call duration screenshots, some texts when we were at the airport looking for each other, and some whatsapp screenshots from the past months)
I believe that is plenty
When did you guys send it in? Did you get your NOA1 already? We sent ours yesterday, June 9th! Good luck!
AOS is not necessary but we have added to our file just in case...I have the original AOS in hand for later to present at the embassy stage. My country is not a high fraud country as far as I know. It's just because me&my fiance cannot afford any delays if we receive any RFEs, so we've sent everything beforehand that we could think of they may ask later if they weren't somehow convinced.

That makes me nervous. I sent in 6 pictures of us together, travel itinerary of hers when she came for 4 months, copies of her passport, a letter she sent me and receipt of a package I sent her. Hoping that is enough, but we do have a lot of evidence to bring when we get to the interview portion. Hopefully the Sydney Consulate is cool about it.
Those docs are what we have sent, it doesn't mean that you should provide them all. I've just posted to give an idea.Plus, I'm an absolute freak when it comes to use every precautions. I believe that each case is unique so you better know which ones apply to your case. Good luck!!

our hard copy took 9 days to arrive in hand after they received our file. however we received a text msg 5 days after they got it. including weekends btw...
