Yes must be separate. One LOI will generate an RFE
I guess I should be expecting an RFE. I only sent one LOI with both of our names and our signatures. I’ll be glad if I even get an RFE at this point at least I’ll know they are working on my case. Maybe the fact that we have a child together (who was listed on my N400 and on I12F) who is expected to get a k2 might not generate an RFE, fingers crossed.

My case is officially out of processing timeline. Jan 10th on old and 12th on new site. No update no RFE nothing. It’s so frustrating and I’m trying not to let it get to me. I’ll be submitting a case enquiry online and also call uscis today. Anyone in the same situation?

thank you for your prayers and I stand in agreement Bestie @Deehotstepper I know this coming week has to be my week and wouldn't that be wonderful if I could make that date! I would love for my baby to be here by the end of September I stand in agreement with you my friend! how are you coming along in the next phase? how are the interview dates in Naija? I hope they are not far out........
Roughly how long does it take to get visa (9ja precisely) in hand after NOA2. I’m still waiting on NOA2 (January 10 old and 12th new site). Hopefully we get something coming week.

12 on the old site and 18 on the new site, still waiting. We had an email from Uscis - they took action, on thursday and still no change status.
The only email I’ve gotten was from when I updated my address. I was told to call and make inquiry by August 10th if there is no update.

It feels like they really skipped Jan 2 - 11. I am Jan 5 on old website and Jan 9 on new website. So frustrated with the wait.
You are not alone. Jan 10 old and Jan 12th on new site.

That’s a relief. Thank you

Is there anyone here whose k1/k2’s beneficiary is from Nigeria?. I’m wondering if my case is taking so long because of the country. I’m a naturalized citizen from Nigeria.

January 12th (new site 10th old) here and I’ve also not heard anything. I called a couple of times but they said it’s still within processing timeline and to call back if by August 10th, I don’t see any update.

We have same dates and still waiting ;( idk why our dates are postponing so much, it’s like someone took our cases and forgot them on the table and went to holidays. Idk what to think more...

Hopefully we get our approvals in this new week. I’m getting tired of checking uscis website on a daily basis and see nothing. Let’s remain hopefully, our time is almost here.

Congratulations to all those that have been approved and those recently approved this week. I don’t know if it’s just my case (K1 for my fiancé and K2 for our child) or there are people in the same situation? January 10th on old and 12th on the new site but I’m yet to see any update. I’m active duty military and was thinking that would make any difference but I guess it doesn’t.

Oh okay fingers crossed. Jan 12th on the new site and still nothing yet.

All K1 now goes to CSC. And yes @ashmed246 there are already few January filers who got approved.
Thanks for the reply and hopefully our approvals will come soon. Fingers crossed!

I-129F was mailed out January 10th and was received by January 12th 2018. NOA was mailed out few days after that and since then, the online status has been “we received your application”. Read that waiting time for California service Centre is about 5-7 month and I’m approaching the 7 month mark. Just wondering if any January filer in California service Centre has been approved yet.

My fellow Naija peeps...im interested in joining the navy too and I have been in contact with a recruiter ..please can anyone give me the idea of how the whole process go through ..
I proud of my Naija dude ..we are everywhere and we are progressing ...I'm also waiting for my interview date too with uscis ..
Can someone tell me how the test go thru
I do not really know how long the navy enlistment process takes, but as for the Army, everyone's case is different. Without any medical or legal issue, the process takes roughly 3 to 4 weeks. The interview will go well, they will ask you questions to know how real your marriage is. As a couple, you should not have problems with these. I wish you good luck in your enlistment and your interview.
Glad to meet my naija people here, can 36 join army?
No the enlistment age is 34, you have to be able to ship to basic training before your 34th birthday.

@
ashmed246You'll be able to start your naturalization process once you start the bootcamp, right?
Also if you don't mind, how many years is the contract?
For Navy boot camp I really do not know, but for Army basic training, yes you turn in your naturalization papers in basic and possibly be naturalized by the end of basic or during AIT.

Is it really free and appropriate to do your i1693 vaccine with a Millitary physician.I was told is free and acceptable
Are you a military dependent?..then yes only if the physician is an immigration certified physician. You can check the list of USCIS certified physicians in your area.

Kool. So you can run the 2 miles in 17mins or less... right?
I'm having serious issues with the 2mile run stuff.
Yea man. I run 2 miles in 15.30 at least thats my best so far. Still working on improving it though. How long does it take you?

You need to just keep pushing man. The more you run the better you get...but try not to hurt yourself before your ship date though.
