First off thank you for reading my profile.
I am married serious about divorce and considering marriage with a lawyer in pakistan. I know you think he is using me but i have talked to his family.
He needs a tourist Visa but will my spouse find out. I dont want to jeopardize my marriage if he is the wrong choice which i know he is not. My husband is not good to me.
The question is will my spouse know? He will only stay 2 weeks.
Thank you for your time
How would anyone here know if your spouse will know?

Looking at the timeline function might answer your question. Seems there are some people from June 2017 are getting approvals in July 2018. So 13 months is not 18 months.

Well your therapist definitely should not put anything about the psychological health of anyone they have not met with and had the opportunity to diagnosis with the pat persons permission. An opinion of someone else’s mental health they have never treated is not proof. Seems you just need to file the waiver and really don’t need to state your are visiting a therapist.

As you probably know the I-130/I-130A are for petitioning of an Alien Relative/Spouse. Assuming you married within the 90 days you wouldn't need I-130 (try to file the AOS within the 90 days as well). You should be filling I-485 (AOS) , I-765 (Employment Authorization), and I-131 (Advanced Parole). If you got married outside the 90 day window then you'd need the I130
Good luck
-
If you look at the timelines section of the site, you will see that most March fillers are waiting. Remember the typical processing is 5 months according to USCIS. Waiting sucks but consider yourself lucky, when we filled it was 9 months. Not much longer it seems for you.
-
Likely means that your case is now at the NVC and in a few weeks you will get a case number from them and eventually it will be sent to the overseas embassy. You should be able to check out the steps/process for i-130s. Good luck.
-
You could also write to the Embassy in Fiji (SuvaIV@state.govSuvaIV@state.gov) and ask. Seems that your fiance will likely have to visit Fiji for the interview.
-
Are you sure you are reading the correct information? If you father is a US citizen the requirements are different, only 5 years in their life in the US and 2 years after their 14th birthday. See: https://www.uscis.gov/us-citizenship/citizenship-through-parents
One parent is a U.S. citizen at the time of birth and the birthdate is on or after November 14, 1986The U.S. citizen parent had been physically present in the U.S. or its territories for a period of at least five years at some time in his or her life prior to the birth, of which at least two years were after his or her 14th birthday.

I'm not from the UK and no my Fiancé can't move maybe later in life but not the next couple of years.
I think you are totally over reacting what the point of this thread was with OP and why ...
My apologies for getting the country you are from wrong, doesn't change the point. Overreacting? I don't think so. Why do prefer that I not express my own opinion? Seems you don't like what I have say. Good luck in your journey.
-
I don't think you get it right. I'm leaving my country so I can be with the man I love and since he can't come here I'll go there.
Yes, we are spoiled with 5-6 weeks vacation every year (This without holiday and sick days) And YES I enjoy having a lot of vacation. Does it mean we don't work hard? No not at all. Does it mean we won't work in the US, of course not.
Also here we have 1 year off when we get a baby. we have a lot of benefits here and I'm very happy here so not all are leaving there country to seek a better life. I leave my country because of him! of course we will miss the free time we have been used to getting always and spending that time with family, children, friend, traveling or what ever and I think it's totally okay to want to find a job with much vacation if that makes that person happy.
I don't see anything wrong in asking questions about vacations and benefits for work.
I'm certain I have it right. Perhaps you noticed I didn't say anything about how hard anyone worked anywhere. Nor did I say anything about someone leaving the US for a "better life". Nor do I know your particulars but I do know we all have choices, and to say your man "can't" go there is an oversimplification. Maybe it is more difficult or he has a better income but people immigrate to the UK regularly.
Simply I stated why do people leave their country to come the US? The OP asked about benefits but in the form of complaining about time off and that information is readily available to anyone to search. There is no mandated time off which means the OP and everyone can negotiate with potential employers the number of days off they will receive, and for that matter what benefits they will receive. There is no magical answer to the original OP's question other than find a job the offers the benefits you want/need.

Not everyone have the option of the US spouse moving away from US.
We all have options, the choice may not be easy. One spouse/s.o. moves away from what they have in their home country. That decision, I hope, was based on all information about what would be gain or lost through immigration to a new country. It is just a known fact that the US has no mandatory paid days off and that the average number of days for paid vacation is 10.
-
Curious, why if the number of days off is such an issue anyone moves to the USA or get jobs here? Agreed, that 2 weeks sucks but that is just part of the package. No one is forced to move to the US and why not have your spouses move to your countries where they can maybe get a job and 30+ days off?
-
TSC is slow. They appear to be processing early December 2014 now, so prepare for several more months of waiting. It can be a painful wait but worth it.
-
Yes, NVC issues a different case number. I'd suggest you keep calling them to get your case number. Redail will become your friend. I called several times and it took between 2 to 60 redails and hold times of up to 20 minutes.
I've read that NVC will send the petitioner a letter once the case is mailed to the USE but have also read many people never getting this letter, so waiting for it might be a ####### shoot.
Best of luck.

Your cousin would be wrong regarding the K1. If you leave with out AP or your conditional GC then you will need to apply for spousal visa and basically start the process all over. When you apply for your AoS you can also apply for AP and EAD. However, do not leave the US until you have at least AP after you get married.

I had the same problem and could not open it in Chrome. Downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (the newest version of reader), then I was able to open the document after following the instructions in the reader to authorize secure content.

We got our I-129F NOA2 approved June 4th and the letter a few days latter. You can call NVC at 603-334-0700 and see if they have received your case from USCIS. If so, you can ask for the NVC Case #. Be perpared to get a busy signal and keep hitting redial. Our case was finally received at NVC on June 26th. So I am guessing your case is still probably within the normal processing time.

Here is one of many links you can read about the delay:

It is normal. I also called yesterday and got through on about the 15th redail and then waited on hold for about 20 minutes. We were approved 6/2 and still NVC has not received the file. However, last night I got an update from USCIS that yesterday they sent the file to NVC. May still be a few days before NVC gets either of our files. Good luck with getting through.
