  1. Well I just got back and apparently I was approved on July 28th but the card has not been sent out yet. We shall see. I am not getting excited until I have notification that the card is being mailed out or until I actually receive it.

I started to cry when the agent told me that I had been approved and thanked her profusely as well as apologizing for blubbering like a baby. She just smiled, handed me a tissue and told me that it was nice to give someone some good news for a change. It must have been the release of all of this stress that has been building for the last couple of months. We then discussed applying for N400 and she was telling me not to send it in earlier then I am supposed to. She informed me that the agent next to her sent his wife's citizenship application 3 days early prior to her 3 yr residency date and it was sent back to him, USCIS informed him that it was too earlier.

Plam - you have got to be next and fingers crossed that you get good news today or this week.

I will keep everyone posted when I get my notification.

Yay Moe!!!!! Congratulations! Time to pop open some bubbly and cheers the night away.

  2. Get a stamp and apply whenever you are eligible for N400, don't wait on them to process the I-751. If you are eligible in Nov for citizenship APPLY:)

Good luck, hopefully this week we hear something but I doubt it, my bet is on them starting to process Dec this month and not even touching Nov filers until mid Sept, hopefully that is not the case, but it seems like it to me.

Plam, they started December. One persons approval is there from yesterday

So.............. You had sent none of that initially?

What all had you sent initially and what all did you send after RFE?

I am sorry, if you do not mind me asking.

  4. Sammyboy,

i received RFE on march 6th 2015 replied them back with bunch of documents May 6th 2015 ...got email from USCIS on july 8th 2015 - "Our records show that your Form I-751 is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter."

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

on first info-pass appointment i got I-551 stamp on my passport ... now i am going again on monday to check about my case.

Right, but what was asked in your RFE?

  5. Great...not at all

so, I went for my infopass appt and the officer was very nice, she said that our application is sitting on a shelf somewhere most likely forgotten and she submitted a request, we are supposed to hear back some time in early August. She said that hopefully this speeds things up. She couldnt give me any timeline, but just said to call if we dont hear anything back by mid August. I got my stamp and now I can go get a driver's license since I lost mine a few months back lol.

So, did the officer mention something as to what time frame they are processing right now?

  6. VSC is regressing...

As of April 30th they have supposedly processed all cases as of Oct 29th, 2014

As of May 31st they have supposedly processed all cases as of Oct 19th, 2014

so their progress has been backwards.

As of June 30th, they will probably go back to Sept 19th, 2014.

Someone should have a news channel or media cover this disparity amongst service centers. Maybe being in the news will give VSC a kick on their rear

  7. Now I tend to agree with you, there is no way Jan filers are seeing approvals this year, with this rate Nov filers might not see anything this year LOL. I wonder if, maybe now, they will start transferring cases, let's say they purposely updated Oct, 19th and they will transfer all Nov and Dec to CSC. That would help them and significantly help us.

Transferring cases is the only way to ever try and get back to the 6 month timeline.

I mean retrogression of priority dates on H1 B visas is one thing, but cmon on family based processing? really?

  8. You most definitely should keep us posted on that. I will let you know how my info pass went by on Monday. Sammyboy we all love you, but my love will be gone in a moment if you get approved before me or Moe LOL, At this point I think this is quite possible, since it will be almost 10 months for me since I sent my package right around July 30th LOL.I guess I will know what patience is after this experience LOL

    Have a good week everybody:)

Plam, in that case, i d rather that y'all be haters... I kid I kid!. :dancing:

Doesnt USCIS update their processing times on the 15th? Is there a certain time of the day they do that? Has not been done until now today.
