  3. After the housing bust they stopped allowing people to gain credit from being an authorized user. Call any of the 3 credit agencies and they will tell you that. Basically, it's the same as lying about your credit since you didn't build it and you are not financially responsible for the debt as an authorized user. As mentioned earlier it has to be joint responsibility.

All of the major scoring models take AU accounts into account when calculating the score, the accounts themselves are marked as AU though and upon review anyone looking at your report can tell they're AU accounts so yeah, you'd be unlikely to get credit extended to you based on those alone and should have some individual/joint accounts as well, but the AU accounts will calculate into the score.

  4. My mom put me on her credit card a few years ago as an authorized user and it boosted my credit. If you are looking to build credit for him get a secured credit card. Credit agencies have no idea it's secured. I did it in sept of 2013 and I now have a 700 credit score. Good luck!

That depends on how the bank reports it, some report as secured (I've heard Bank of America does, for example), others don't. Either way, it's beneficial. However, some banks are in fact willing to issue a card to someone without much of a credit history--my very first card came from Capital One and it was a regular (i.e., not secured) credit card. I'd go for a plain platinum card in that case as the cards with rewards usually require a good credit rating (but a platinum can be converted to a rewards card later on).

  5. Generally, when you add him as an authorized user to your card, his credit report will show a more or less verbatim copy of that particular card's history (so the card open date will be the day you opened the card and not when he got a card as an authorized user, but it will be marked as him being an authorized user and not an owner of the account on his credit report). His actual credit report, however, probably won't be generated at all until he gets a SSN and a credit score will be generated after about six months after his credit file is generated.

The loan will be good for his history if you set him up as joint responsibility* since it will show as such on his report. The notation that he has no income would probably just be an internal bank note and would not show up on his report (although there is a note field for each account on the credit report so it might also show up there as well). Again, it would be best he already has an SSN at this point as that would ensure the loan makes it to his report.

*So there's pretty much three statuses when it comes to how accounts report on the credit report: individual responsibility, joint responsibility and authorized user where each previous one is better on a bank review for future loans than the latter one (so individual > joint > authorized).

  9. Doctor will give you the vaccinations needed / make sure you get a copy of these for your own records

he will put one copy in the medical packet that you are not allowed to open and keep / it goes to embassy

this costs should be part of the medical exam

incha allah all will go well

It's generally the case that if the applicant needs to receive any vaccines, those are charged extra (i.e., they're not covered by the cost of the medical). Not sure what OP's consulate is, but the instructions for Casablanca clearly state that any vaccines are charged extra (instructions for other consulates).

  10. DCF if you have resident visa in HK, others will be able to help you more with DCF, but I think the requirements are pretty much only to have a resident visa, and have been there 6 months or so, someone will come along and offer more advice on it though I am sure.

Only takes like 1 month in some cases FYI

Well the big requirement is having an USCIS office, and there isn't one in HK AFAIK, just in mainland China and those may be two entirely different things as far as immigrant visas go.

P.S. The consulate website also doesn't mention the option of filing directly with them (anymore).

  11. Thanks for the explanation about the I-130, quick question, how much evidence should I include for Bona fide Marriage? As much as possible?

    Thanks!

Pretty much. There should be a bunch of topics about that on the forums, and you can check out the guides section as well for ideas. I would personally focus on evidence showing co-mingling of financial assets (joint active bank accounts, credit cards, etc.) and joint ownership (house, condo, cars, stuff like that), but there's also other stuff you can and should send (our I-130 packet was 90 pages long, including the forms, but many send bigger packets from what I can see here).

  12. Its gonna cost me more ??? Or i will habe same price as everyone else ?

    Generally, yes.

And what is the pictures size they need ? Like Us passport passport ? (5x5)

    Yup.

P.S. I'm not sure how it works in Morocco, but in Serbia some people just get the vaccinations they need (and don't have) prior to the medical at their GP's office and it generally costs less than getting them at the medical.

  13. FWIW (not a USCIS experience): the wife and I had a really small, intimate, and simple wedding with a JP officiating (we're not into ceremonies either and we're both more-or-less introverts so we're not into crowded events in general). She wore a white dress (nothing like the wedding gowns you'd expect) and I wore a navy blazer with a red tie. We only had a couple of people attend -- some family and a couple of friends, all in all it was the two of us, five guests and the justice of the peace. We got married in a public park near our apartment with a nice gazebo (where people generally come to take wedding pictures actually) and the only reason we didn't do it at a courthouse is that we were informed they don't really do courthouse weddings in CT (or at least our county) anymore. This was perfectly fine as far the CO who interviewed me at the embassy was concerned.

  14. And finally if my F1 visa expires while it is being processed if I have to leave the country? Many thanks!

As far as I know: no (and it's about when your status expires, not when your visa expires, really). It would probably be best though, to stay in the US until you get advanced parole/green card (if you go with the adjustment of status). If you leave the country without AP/GC you'd then have to file for a visa to get back in and that would take 6-12ish months.
