  1. Hi, keep the evidence to minimum, for instance don't have to many pics, choose pics that show you and him out around town and few with his main family such mom and dad if you have any, to many pics with unnecessary family members will have them thinking one of them could be his wife, you need to show your relationship from start to middle to interview, you don't know what the consular will ask him, his questions will most likely be based off of your first denial, but you never know, your husband needs to know they may grill him with questions so he will be under a lot of pressure and if he doesn't understand the question he needs to let them know that, and if he doesnt know the answer to any question he needs say he doesn't know. I wish you good luck on your interview

  2. A little advice, you should focus on having enough visits with your spouse, and your evidence and fees that are down the line, making sure your hubby is ready for his side of the process, his interview will be the highlight!!, he needs plenty of evidence that your marriage is bona fide, you cannot force uscis to hurry your case no matter who you contact, I'm not gonna convey things that could happen by harassing them, but your time would be better spent focusing on preparing for what's down the line, your husband interview will be filled with questions and no one knows what those questions are or how many there will be!, you have no idea how long the wait is if he isn't approved! this time your waiting now is nothing!! go back through the years here in Ghana portal and read up on Ghana embassy and prepare your self and hubby so you can have a great outcome. Just my advice from an experienced 5 year waiter, good luck in your journey.

  3. Hi, when you go to the appointment its gonna really depend on the case worker you speak with if they will give you any answers, I went to one last year and was no help, your best option is to find out which uscis service center has your case, they should be able to tell you that and then go from there. I would speculate that your case has been returned and if it has you can only wait because the time frame for returned cases is taking in some cases years to receive the noir, you filed a cr1 they do not expire, I got my noir 2 months ago after a 2 year wait, you can also get help from your congressman or senator they are pretty much the only ones who would be able get answers for you and they can tell you exactly where you case is at, and can tell you if its been returned and can also tell you the issues that consular  wrote from the interview( if they want to about the consular notes)

Yeah that sounds exactly like what the clerk told me.  But sometimes you got people that won't believe anything and will argue.  I just said what she told me i guess some think no government employee will quit their job.  The funny thing is, i was a government employee and i quit because i was sick and tired or the culture

I think the people commenting that they don't believe anyone would just quit a government job I guess they haven't been paying attention to this current administration, there's stuff going on behind the scene that people don't know about, it's just aggravating to pay for services and nothing's happening 😖Or years of waiting 😡

I want to see the figures of increase.  Some people are assuming the US Government is drowning in all the fee money from these applicants.  I know my congresswoman's immigration clerk told me a number of individuals who used to work have quit their jobs because they don't support/agree with the administration after Trump and things are moving slow.  She said almost all her contacts no longer active after Trump.

And your congresswoman is accurate, a group I was in on fb a lady posted a response she got from someone in dhs and they stated that a lot of workers quit because they didn't wanna work for the current administration so that's also putting on extra strain on an already strained process 🙁

Thanks so much Mrs. Bonsu.  I appreciate your advice :)

Do you know if it also stays on file how many times someone has applied for the lottery?  I was going to have him try again this October.

Hi, whatever visa you apply for from anywhere or many many years ago it will be seen, they never go off file, so no matter who you are or when you applied those visa application are always in the system, that's why no one can lie to the consulars about a past application! Good luck!

  7. Hi, did you have to do a rebuttal? Or was it just reaffirmed without needing to show more proof?, I would say focus on what they questioned, yes they will have what you sent it in already so I would concentrate on showing more detail from when your case was returned, like more visits, detailed chats where you discuss life and family etc, pics from the visits, in general for detail, but most of this detail your hubby needs to be familiar with because it's him they will question with all your sending in and even past stuff sent in, you never know what they are going to ask, good luck ☺🙏🏾

Hi, how are you, how's it going? I think the OP would be just losing money by getting a lawyer, the ones of us that have been to Ghana and have learned the culture understands what he's saying about marrying with the different cultures in Ghana, but this won't work with the American embassy in ghana, and your never supposed to lie to a consular, and this embassy is already tough on us that have everything together and are having a hard time getting approved, I just don't see where he could win on this, and reading his response through the threads I think he just want to get here by any means necessary which could end up hurting the woman that's in love with him, who knows for sure that he won't do to her what he's trying to do at the embassy which is lie 🤔, I love ghana and I love my Ghanian husband and I would like for Ghanian's to come to the US to be with there spouse, but we all know everyone can't come, sorry but that's how it is.

  9. I'm sorry but it looks as though you may never get approved, when stated you were married on two different b1/b2 visa's and your weren't is really saying you lied twice to immigration! It's as simple as that and they have caught you in that lie twice so I don't see how you would ever get an approval on any visa you apply for, or if anyone applies for you. They are thinking that you just want to come to America by any means, if your soon to be wife wants to be with you daily I'm afraid she's gonna have to move to Ghana

  10. Hi, no one can tell you what they will ask, your questions are likely to be based off of what was submitted in your petition, whatever they ask answer it, if you don't know, then don't lie, just simply say you don't know, if they ask a question you don't understand then tell the consular you don't understand, can they ask it in a way for you to understand, this embassy is tough, but stand tall answer what they ask and know that you've done your best! In regards to your age difference it could be a problem for the consular at this embassy, there isn't not much you can do about that, good luck on your journey 😊

  11. I have an attorney, and no it won't make it go faster, I choose to use an attorney because I didn't know the process and I work to many hours, if you choose to use a attorney do research on him or her before hiring, I was lucky mine was referred to me by a person who used him for the same thing and he is a awesome attorney so I had no issues and my case moved in a timely manner, and mostly your greatest obstacle while be at the embassy when your fiancée or spouse has the interview, this is the toughest embassy ever, so make sure whatever you submit make sure your fiancee or spouse knows it inside and out! And make sure they know you inside and out, the embassy will ask anything and it's not the same questions for everyone so be prepared and read through older post in Ghana's portal here, and also good luck! 😊😉

  12. Hi, I know you want your boyfriend here the quickest way possible, but your dealing with the toughest embassy, applying for a student visa and possibly getting denied will be even more problematic, because then you will either wanna k1 or cr1 then, the reason I say this is because when ever a person applies for a visa it stays in there system FOREVER!, so research your options very carefully for your next step, you don't want them looking at two failed visa's for him when you try again for the cr1 or k1, they will also question your first marriage, but it will be him that they question not you because you won't be in the embassy, and the school route is he prepared to see it through? Coming here and them marrying and then leaving school won't look good, because he still will have to prove his intent to immigration here, which he can still be denied or told he has to go back home and wait the process out from Ghana, so my suggestion is to research and choose wisely, go to travelstate.gov and see how many student visa's are issued each year for Ghana, and look through Ghana's portal here for outcomes from past post about student visas, as with anyone going through the embassy through Ghana I wish you good luck!

  13. Nov is one year they refuse my husband visa, nvc received it in March 22nd 2016 and forward it to uscis and they text me that they received our case on April 12 2016 but it will take 180 days, but it's past, that's why I made info pass appointment to go there. Those congressmen and senators are no help.

Hi, in this part of the process it's mostly waiting, they say it takes 180 days to review your returned petition, there is basically nothing anyone can do to speed it up, and what slow it even more really depends on if they are behind on processing them so from most of the post I see it a little more than a year for a response, but I'm signed up for text and email alerts, you should create an account on uscis if you haven't, and then sign up for email and text alerts, so you'll know soon as they do anything on your case, as always good luck!

  14. I really don't know but many people were not seen on that day. My husband and I both wonder if it has something to do with this fake embassy that has been from what the authority said have been operating for the last 10 years. Who's to know all we know is that we waited 2 months to go to the interview just for them to tell us on the day of that its postponed. Our petition is not a complicated one.

I'm wondering the same thing! This is crazy a fake embassy for 10 years and nobody knew ?, come on nobody's that dumb!!
