How long we need to wait for the naturalization certificate to come back. I received my passport book and passport card on 09/02 and 09/04 but still haven't received the NC.

I saw posts earlier some have got earlier and some have received a bit late. Just want the document to come back with not being lost.

Can be days, weeks or months, definitely will find its way back to you...

Totally within normal time, some get sooner but many get it in 3-4 weeks, a few even longer

curious what you needed it for that a passport didn’t suffice

Thanks SusieQQQ, yes I thought all the while that I won't use that certificate anymore because I have a US passport and card now, but as I said I needed it for an easy access to travel and visit my former home country from time to time.  It is one of their requirements....

Does Citibank still have any retail banking locations open in the PI?  In April this year they released a statement saying they were exiting the Philippines and 13 Asia Pacific countries.  They will maintain their corporate banking.  Before this announcement, unless you were located in Clark, Manila or Cebu, it was difficult to use Citibank due to lack of locations.

yes, they still have...  makati branch...  as far as I know there is another one in Greenhills, Ortigas.  That's the only problem, not so many branches in the Phils.  I think even the one in Pampanga branch is no longer open....

Hello again! I need an advice. For those who have sent money back home, what method did you use to send over $10,000? Can the funds be available immediately on their bank?

Citibank USA to Citibank Philippines, both USD savings or checking Accounts,  overnight Global Money Transfer, no charge, not even a dime.  Only problem is Citibank Philippines checking or savings account requires a high maintaining average daily balance.  But as I said when you transfer USD 10,000 from your Citibank USA account, you will receive the USD 10,000 in the Citibank Philippines bank account.  And you transfer the money online by yourself...

    They are moving faster now...

For reference of some people who want to do the normal or routine passport processing application, this is how my application went through:

Applied in one of the USPS in Las Vegas

applied June 3, 2021 Routine Processing

Document Control Number Starts with 68 (New Hampshire)

    Check cashed June 29, 2021

Status “In process” on June 30, 2021

Status “Approved” on August 12, 2021

Status “Shipped” on August 13, 2021

Received Passport Book on August 16, 2021 (10.5 Weeks)

“Patience is a Virtue”. Don’t worry too much with passport processing application IF we don’t have out of the country travel soon. We can’t even travel abroad the way we used to be, there are 50 states to visit, enjoy and explore. Good Luck Everyone!!!

I had my interview yesterday in Las Vegas. It was super easy and quick. If the officer didn't have a problem with his computer I probably would've been in and out in ten minutes. Unfortunately Las Vegas doesn't do same day Oath Ceremonies and I was told it will take 30 - 60 day to be scheduled :( My status on myuscis updated to "Case Was Submitted For Quality Review Based On An Approval Recommendation". I hope it's a standard process and I will have my Ceremony date sooner than later.

Congratulations!!!  I am from Las Vegas ASC too, you will gonna get your Oath Ceremony schedule in a couple of days and Oath Ceremony is approximately 30 days after your Interview....

Can you take a trip down to Laughlin? They have all sorts of appointments available, starting on Monday.

Thank you for your response, I already got a Saturday slot, June 5, a USPS just about 3 miles from my home. Just be patient to check the available  schedule every morning, some people cancel their appointments...  Thank you Guys...

I just checked in Lexington, KY and they have appointments tomorrow so it just depends on region.

Thank you, just checked your place with area code 40512, plenty of slots for the month of June appointments are available, unlike here in Vegas where all the dates in June are already filled out.  I think some people are doing business here...

  9. Just want to ask, If you Guys find it so difficult to book an appointment to accept your application from the Acceptance Agencies, such as USPS and Public Libraries?  I am living in Las Vegas and I am not expediting my new passport.  USPS around my place shows that the available schedule to book an appointment is about a month from now.  I am watching YouTube from previous US Passport applicants and it was so easy for them to book an appointment, in any day of the month.  I called the Las Vegas Windmill Library this morning, because they told me a week ago that new appointment schedules for the month of June 2021 opens in the morning of the first day of the month(June 1, 2021), the Lady who answered the phone told me that the appointment slots for the whole month of June was filled out 4 minutes after they released the schedule in their website.  Though I already booked an appointment for June 26, I am just curious if this is happening in other Cities or States of the country.

  10. Hello Guys, just want to let you know that my journey to citizenship is finally over after almost 5 and half years.  Passed my interview last Wednesday in Las Vegas ASC.  Interview went smooth and estimated to just last in about less than 30 minutes.  Good luck to the rest of us here Guys.  I would like to thank this forum which really helped me since day 1 in processing my application for immigration as well as citizenship naturalization without any help from Legal Representatives.

Whether you are done with the process or not, kindly, for data purposes, please, revisit the link and correct your data. Someone messed up the spreadsheet. Individual data may be wrong as a result. I tried to fix it.

And to others... please, the online spreadsheet is ONLY for data input. If you wanna mess with it, kindly download and play with it from your own computer. It allows each and everyone  to download. Do not mess up with the spreadsheet. We spent so much time gathering this data.

Thank you po! I find this question confusing somehow, but I also asked someone (a dentist) and they suggested to answer YES. I answered YES and just put an explanation.

You are most welcome, one of my daughters is working as a Nurse here in the US, and I am telling you that they need more health care provider right now....  And my second daughter is almost in the same process as yours, an F2B category, although her priority date is still in September 2015, all fees and documents were all submitted to NVC already.... Good luck to your journey...

Hello! I would like to know if there are healthcare professionals here planning to take NCLEX in the US but under family-based petition? Or those who are already licensed.

I want to clarify the part in DS 260. Attached is the screenshot below. If there's anyone in this forum who can help, your thoughts are highly appreciated. Thank you!

Kabayan, I think this is an advantage in your part if you answer YES into this question.  If you are working as a Nurse in the Philippines, you are a potential Frontliner here in the US, they need more Health Care workers right now....
