  1. Awesome news today--I logged into the CEAS website and saw our 3rd NA, and just got off of the phone with NVC who confirmed that our file is now Case Complete as of today, and they are just waiting to hear from the Montreal embassy for available dates.

These forums have been an incredible source of helpful information--thanks to everyone who runs them and to everyone who's responded to my previous questions. Good luck to everyone--hope your CC comes soon!!

WOW and your scan date was Jan 21st? That is amazingly quick! Congrats.

  2. there's a good and bad side to everything i suppose. i'm just talking cause i'm anxious to get to where you all are. i get excited when i see the quick progress you guys are making. i want my husband with me already!

I know how you feel I want my husband home as well. I hope you get your case# very soon. Before you know it your case will be moving along fast. The waiting is always the hardest part for everyone.

  3. I don't really know anything about scan dates because I was never able to view my status online. Until this day I keep getting a pop up saying the following

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask.

You can check out my timeline.

Is there a possibility of me getting a feb. interview day??????

Each Embassy is different you can go to dwheels76 interview spread sheet and you see about how long it takes to get an interview.

    Here is the link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xbLl_8yDgHLeDaLnTrPdYc44J0sjPSFfYCKxlKx6uTY/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=0

    I hope that helps

  4. Ok thanks. I'm asking my CPA friend what and how to properly file it this year. I was reading that MFJ means having to fill out a W-7 to get an ITIN since my husband has never been to the US and doesn't have an SSN nor has filed for an SSN yet. oh the joys of immigration and taxes.

I am doing the ITIN number as well. You have to attach the W-7 to your tax return. The IRS will process your ITIN request then process your 2015 tax return.
