Hey guys how long it takes to get ur case number from nvc,I see where it take a lot of ppl,15 days to 7 days,does the country have anything to do with getting ur case number,hellllp me someone plsss.

It can take anywhere from 14-21 days or longer. It doesn't have anything to do with the country. NVC has to process so many cases it just takes time. Waiting and patients is the name of the game

I feel the same way. This is like the last waiting step lol!

It is for most....I just want the CC..haha. Ghana interview time is a bit long. It takes a month or longer just to get an interview date. Then a month or longer after that until the big day. We just try to stay patient because our time will come soon.

I know we are only 25 days in on the scan date...but it's so hard not to check every few hours to see if there are 3 n/a's!! I pray it comes soon

Our case hasn't received a case number yet (arrived at NVC on 12th February, so I'll give them some time before I have to listen to that music again), but I'm trying to be proactive with getting materials for the AOS and IV, and I was wondering a bit about the IRS transcripts. Are IRS transcripts from 2014 counted as the latest tax year? Or is it possible to get one from 2015 already? I really don't understand the US tax system, and my google fu has failed me!

It took 15 days for us to get our case number. You don't have much longer. You can request your 2014 tax transcripts but you will have to submit a copy of your tax return with W2 for 2015. Tax transcripts will not be available right now for 2015.

My wife called again this friday and they transfered us to supervisor review on friday. (she called before but they wouldn't transfer us she said) And today I logged in and saw 3 N/As my wife is going to call tomorrow to confirm , but I guess from what i've seen here that means its complete, thank god

Just saw 3rd N/A ?????????. Hope it means something good. Will have to wait till tomorrow to check. I had two scan dates Jan14th and Jan15th.

Anyone with these dates got CC? How long does it take to know your interview date & do they send notification emails?

The NVC never sent me a notice letter informing me that they had sent our packet to the embassy. I had to call them when I realized it had been over 30 days since I had received the notice of approval. Once I called, they could not explain to me why I had not gotten the notice and I asked for them to send me one. They then informed me they had sent our packet to the embassy on Jan. 15! They gave me our case # and said I should call the embassy in Ghana for further inquiries.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Email the Embassy and request a Call-In-Letter so the beneficiary can go to the Embassy and pick up packets 3 & 4. Packet 4 will have the interview date.

im soo happy just saw 3 N/A and confirmed in phone 2nd scan date Jan 12 CC today thank god for the good news my wife keep craying from the happiness ??

I never received an email either and had to call. It will take between 30-45 days from scan date to case complete. Good luck!

Hi friends! Saw 3 N/As this afternoon (checked the site on my phone at the grocery store and promptly started crying, scaring everyone around me ) and just confirmed case complete on the phone. Scan date Jan. 12. No interview date yet, but I'm happy with the news we've got.

Package was delivered on 12th feb. Received email from nvc that my documents were received. I called nvc and I was told that they scanned documents same day.

So scan date is feb 12th.

That happened to us as well. I got the email for my petition, my husband got the email for my daughter's petition but we never got email confirmation of my son's petition. We did receive them via regular postal mail some weeks after. NVC confirmed via telephone that they rec'd all 3 petitions.

Ok because they did receive our AOS & IV packet I did call and confirm with NVC.

Lately, they have even been answering to my queries about the case via email, which I believe it's even more strange

Yes it is...I called them on Feb 3rd just to confirm they got our packets and they said yes on 2/1/16 it was put in their system. They received it on 1/29/16. We just want our CC.

I always get notifications via email from them.

We normally do too...but we didn't when they received our packets. I just thought it was strange.

Well, well... got a checklist and now I have a new scan date (Feb 16).

And confirmed!!! Case Complete!!! Wooooooooooooohoooooooo! Lol

So most recent scan date of 2-10-16 (from that really really dumb and annoying single checklist item), to CC of 2-16-16. And yes it's Electronic Processing! Thank Goodness or I think I would have imploded waiting longer. Seriously. Lol!

Also my husband asked about interviews while on the phone and they said they should be scheduling again in about 10 days after they "get the list of openings" for April. Lol this month it seemed to take forever for people to get their interviews for March... so I will just have to hope that we get lucky and get it quickly so my poor hubby doesn't have a puddle of a melted down woman to clean up!!!
