AOS is paid only once for all related cases. We experienced the same as hubby paid for only me but we have an accompanying child. You are safe..

We called NVC and asked the representative to review ds-261, she said in a few days, say 4-7 days. Actually IV was invoiced two days later. I read someone here said hers was invoiced within 24hrs so that motivated me to press-on. Give them a call. I have just completed my ds-260, hoping for the best, but that form requires time and concentration, its a long one...

Today i received a hard copy welcome letter in my mail box. It is dated 6th Jan. My take, if i wasn't proactive by contacting NVC i guess this is the date i would be receiving the case number . I am far ahead coz we called them. Be smart and call call call. We are mailing our AOS/IV package today. We have two petitions.

Went through Vermont and got my NOA2 on 16th Nov.. that is within 24 days from NOA1. Now calls to NVC don't go through.. I don't even know if our case was received or not..
Consolation is in believing that this is the last Christmas spent without our sweethearts... Its not fair but there is hope.. Smile and put your best foot forward.There is light at the end of the tunnel..

Ok, after contacting NVC severally, now i have my emails from their office. Now, hubby filed for both me and child. I have my IV invoice ready, but i cannot see how to pay for child online, cannot access her account. Anyone who has ever paid for an accompanying child, did this ever happen, or do i pay mine online and pay for kid via money order?

Hubby said he has always spelt out the email addresses to them whenever he calls but now it seems they don't update anything. And i am even wondering coz the email USCIS used to email us the notifications is still the same email addresses we both use. Wonders never cease to happen.. smh

Hi y'all!! yesterday hubby received a letter from NVC dated January 15, 2015 saying they did not have correct email addresses as our mails from them did not go through. And so they asked us to submit current email addresses for both our cases. They instructed us to mail them at asknvc@state.gov . I responded immediately. I am wondering if my email to that address will be looked at in good time or is there an alternative email address which they can be reached at asap?. Mark you we never received any mail from NVC and all information on our case we get through calling.

Just realized my daughter's IV pack has our marriage cert together with all the required documents, any idea if this is an "RFE IN VIEW"? I did put it in there coz it was a requirement at uscis level... please tell me is no problem.. #FingerCrossed..
