  1. Update.....

“Per our USCIS liaison the case is still pending interview scheduling. They recommend we follow-up in 60 days if you have not heard anything.

    Response:

    Dear Xxxxx,

Xxxxxxxxxx case (xxxxxxxxx) is undergoing processing at the National Benefits Center for interview.  Due to the current situation there is no estimated time-frame as to when the case will be scheduled.

However, please feel free to follow up in 60 days.

    Thank you”

Cool!  Would love to hear update of what information (generally speaking, of course) your senators office provides to you.  I may look into that route if I start getting really antsy 😂

Good Luck and I hope you get some great news soon!

Lol how funny I just got an email from the senators case worker just now.

I requested a name change as well.  I knew that it would take some extra time, but I didn't imagine it would be this long.  May I ask, how long you have been waiting to hear back from your senators' office?

It’s only been 2 business days. (Not counting weekends). The senators office did contact me back saying they received my request and will stay in touch with me once they have received a response from USCIS-Atlanta office.

San Diego filer here. Did both my application (online) and biometrics in November.  Still nothing as of today and my estimated completion date is gone.  Getting antsy and trying to be patient at the same time is difficult.  Hopefully I and you all that are waiting, will hear some news soon.  Out of curiosity, those of you that are still waiting on interviews, did you request a name change in your application?

Yes I requested a name change. I’m still waiting for a interview. I contacted my senator to help with getting info on my case. Waiting to get a response from them.

  5. Anyone’s time increased once there timer ran out? My completion time was “September 2020” it updated today and now is showing completion time “December 2020”!!!?? This process is making me go crazy! I won’t be able to vote this year! This is ****** ridiculous!!! 🤬
my estimated wait time also expired but now they updated it showing “Estimated Wait Time 2 months”?!?!

I have reached out to them as well, someone Named Charles replied with a very generic e-mail and said everything i already know. Unfortunately GA is lacking when it comes to Senators doing what they are suppose to do. but oh well it`s a Red state anyways so not surprised.

I just received an email from Charles from senator loefflers office.

“Thank you for your e-mail to Senator Loeffler regarding your immigration case. We will follow-up with USCIS-Atlanta and be in touch. I can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX with any questions.

    Take Care,

    Charles

    Senator Kelly Loeffler”

We’ll see what happens next week.:clock: Have a good weekend everyone.

Maybe you can try Purdue (but just know you'll need to follow up with them repeatedly before they get back to you) and your congressperson.

I went ahead and contacted Loeffler. Let’s see what they say. I completed the uscis privacy form and sent it through email. How long did it take for them to respond to your request for help?

Well I might not because We are planning on moving to Salt Lake City, Utah in about a month and a half. So we’ll see if we get any news this coming month...but if not well hopefully my cases get transferred to Salt Lake City and my interview will take place there.

Wow, really? Your I-751 is about to turn 2 years old in a couple of months. What kind of processing time are they going off of (Probably the official one that somehow gained an extra year in processing overnight )

Have you made any congressional inquiry or just the ombudsman?

Just ombudsman. I know it’s crazy. I’m almost 2 years in with I-751.😢

So Purdue's office finally got back to me:

Yes, they (USCIS) have started doing interviews again.  Sorry, but I cannot give you a timeframe because it depends on where you are in the queue.

I've noticed that we don't have a lot of ATL users on VJ, so maybe people are getting scheduled and rescheduled and we just won't know because they're not on a forum.

I just hate that there is no transparency with this process. Like, how many interviews will the office be conducting a day? How many of those are people who need to be rescheduled? How many people are in the queue? Are we really waiting on the next available interview date and if so, how far out would that be?

This whole process has me like :girlwerewolf2xn:

Yeah this whole process is making me feel the same 😅. Well the ombudsman said they can’t help me because I’m still “Within processing time” with I-751 and N-400. So they closed the request I sent them.....🙃

  12. 23 minutes ago, PonJor said:

Reached out to Senator Loeffler's case worker to see if they could provide insight regarding why ATL seems to be lagging behind in scheduling and I received this e-mail:

Please see below response from USCIS-Atlanta, while they confirm you are in line for scheduling, they cannot provide a definitive time frame. If you don’t hear anything in 60 let us know so we can follow-up.

    USCIS Response:

    Dear SENATOR'S CASEWORKER,

Ponjor's husband's case is currently in line for interview scheduling.  He will be scheduled for the next available interview date.

Please feel free to follow up in 60 days.

I asked the senator's caseworker if he has seen interviews being scheduled and I'm waiting for his reply. I really feel like we aren't even going to see people be rescheduled or scheduled until August :crying:

That’s who I was gonna contact but I saw she wasn’t immigration friendly. Well sounds like the same thing I would receive if I contact her. I messaged USCIS and they replied with a very similar message you got from Loeffler’s office.

Thank you for your inquiry dated July 21, 2020.

now they want a written letter from Georgia DMV stating that they cannot renew my driver's license. I am not even sure I can get one. not only that there are no open dates for an appointment in DMV offices before my driver's license expires. and I was told about this letter only today, talked to maybe 5 different agents and none of them ever mentioned this.

It's just absolutely infuriating. We all paid ~1500 dollars on naturalization and 10 year green card and they won't even put a simple stamp.

Yeah this is ridiculous. Someone will sue USCIS eventually for this.

Nope. Just waited and waited and waited. I was actually planning to call today if I didn’t get an update coz my extension letter expires in less than 2 weeks. So I’m really glad i got approved. Good luck!

Yeah my extension letter expires at the end of August. 😭 My I-751 was transferred to NBC where my N-400 is pending there as well. Ugh hopefully I get some good news soon...losing hope with all what’s going on..

WAC filer here.. And after 616 days, my I751 got approved!!! Finally! See my signature for my timeline. Best of luck for those who are still waiting. Now i just need to wait for my N400.

To those who had been approved, how long did you get your green card from the online update that your case was approved? Thanks!

Wow congratulations! Wow I’m surprised they approved your I-751 while you still have N-400 pending. Hope that happens to me 😢 is there anything you did to push for a decision on your I-751?
