  1. My status on USCIS is still the same "case was received". They should have changed my ARN until now, right? :( Friday will be 2weeks since we got the hard copy of our NOA1. I'll wait until next monday and then call, just to see what they are going to tell me.

I'm in the same boat as you. I haven received a change to our ARN and am assuming we aren't receiving a change until we our noa2.

  2. I think we made ours before the NOA1 hard copy arrived and it doesn't seem to have caused any problems :)

Pheebs (or anyone else :) ) - For the I-134, what supporting documentation is your fiance planning on providing? I make well over the poverty line, and I'm thinking maybe providing a couple of paystubs and my latest W2. Not sure if the employment letter or documents from my bank are needed.

  3. Keeping my fingers crossed for you for sure!!! If it's denied can they travel to you instead??

On wonderful! What great news! Glad that got sorted relatively quickly :) That would be great to get your NOA2 together :)

Have you tried making a myUSCIS account? I heard this can bypass the error message sometimes.

Yep, I always log into my account and that only tells me the last time the case was touched. Other than that, nothing. I expect our application won't be approved for a while so I won't call, but it is a tad bit annoying that a status isn't available on their site. Oh well!

  4. I actually have an update.... my fiance was able to get the "decree absolute" that states her prior marriage was ended in 2008. So we are very excited cause this is exactly what the RFE requested. So she will be here on Friday for a 1 week visit and we will send out the document this Saturday. I have heard that CSC responds quickly when RFE responses are received so we are kind of hopeful that we will get our NOA2 before she leave for home. Thanks!

Glad you got that sorted out!

As for me, no updates as I expected since we are with TSC. Still can't check the status... Receiving the, "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information" error. At least the case on my USCIS profile shows the last time it was touched!

    Anyone else still receiving errors?

  5. Well I have an update! Not so happy but still progress. We got an RFE on the way. Hopefully it will be here first part of next week so we can respond asap. I have no idea what it could be as I followed all the info on the K1 guide and had all the evidence for everything. Hopefully something very minor like a signature or something. I'll post again once I get the RFE and see what we are dealing with. Thanks!

How were you informed that you were getting an RFE? Assume email/text or were you able to check on the website? Not sure what the notification looks like, so if you could provide that would be great :)

  6. I think some people send chat logs/texts/records of calls to one and other.

Personally we didn't include this as we felt the entry passport stamps, number of visits, photos etc were enough. (I also don't believe someone is going to sit and read pages and pages of chat logs :P )

I think this is what they are referring to!

I agree. While Morocco is a high fraud country, I'm hopeful that the boarding passes, itinerary of the cruise, photos of us, me with his family/friends, and passport photos will show proof that we are in a bonafide relationship. Good thing we have modern technology just in case we need to provide skype/facebook, etc. logs at the consulate/embassy!

  7. We got of "hard copy" NOA1 11/17/14. Now awaiting NOA2!!!!

BTW - Out of curiosity... while updated our timeline.. I noticed this little note on VJ:

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 15, 2015 and February 21, 2015*.

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should

consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

Do they mean adjudicated the entire process or just the NOA2?

Congrats! I believe they mean the NOA2.

  8. Sent ours Friday, Nov. 7th. (sent to Lewisville address) - priority express mail (USPS)

They received and signed for packet (per online USPS confirmation) Nov. 10th

Received electronic notification (text & email) of receipt from USCIS Nov. 13th (awaiting mailed paper confirmation)

    They cashed "check" Nov 13th.

    Rerouted to California Service Center.

So even with the holiday this week (Veterans Day) it took them about 3 days to notify us.

I actually have a quick question... Is the electronic copy considered the NOA1?

Hi there! Congrats! I believe the NOA1 is technically when you receive the letter in the mail. I didn't request text/email, but it took about 8 business days for me to get my hard copy letter. Not too bad :)
