Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum. My PD is 2009 ( India). my question is that if I look at the historical data, in 2010 it was taking 8 years ( minimum so far ) for the F4 visa approval and now its 14-15 years. Has anyone any insights from the news or some predictions, how the movement is going to be for the next 2-3 years. Is there any source out there which gives some accurate prediction.
Thanks,
Manny
This year F4 India only moved by some months... I would expect another 7-10 years

Yes, it is still pending. What can i say to convince the VO now? :'( And I think that i have listed my father as not in the US in the DS160. Can I edit that status now or should i fill a new DS 160 form?
Once you submit the data is in their hand... you can may be resubmit another one.. but they do their home work before your interview.. there are few other questions? .. what kind of asylum your father filed for ? (political, hardship etc).. How do you paying for your tuition fees

I KNOW.THE TIME THE PETITION STAYED AT USCIS OR CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER IS 11 MONNHS .I know all that things .
If you know it then you can figure it out.. looks like it will be a close call.. if the visa availability moves like current then he might get in... Now he is over 21 that's why they put the case in to CSPA review.

As my understanding, your sister is at age 21 on 04/15/2017. CSPA will give you extra 6 months ( from PD date till I-130 approved), and so i think CSPA only protect your sister until 10/15/2017. And by this time, the visa still not available for your sister so I guess she will be moved to F2B. That's what im understanding about CSPA, please let me know if others have different thought
I think you are correct . Looking at current movement her visa will be available before October.

Signing up for the USPS informed delivery service should do the trick.
I tried to sign up.. my zip is eligible.. my address is not.. I also tried with neighboring properties.. none.. but 2 or 3 house apart are eligible..

I wanted to know one more thing. Now since i have listed my father is not in the US means that the counsaler won't be suspected or will check my father's status right? Or is there other way that the counselor will already know about my father? :'(
Asylum application do ask for spouse, children information. If your father listed your name on the application then your information is already in the system.
What happened to his application ? still pending ?

We get married in 2011 and we still married and living toghether .
For I️ 751 we file in dec 2014 and last year in October and November we had stoke interview with same IO We had some discrepancies
name on lease spell wrong
We had 3 cars and my wife forgot to mantion one
My wife change her driving license after 4 months after we move ( we have like 4 yers in same address now)
Second interview was about 3 hours and officer was rude and disrespectful.
I don’t know if I need to call this red flag but my wife is older than me (8 years) I don’t see something wrong ( president of France is 41 and his wife 60)
We filed N 400 in July last year and i just got mail in October that i am in line for interview.
infopass? Got stamp for 6 months because my passport is going to expire in 7 months and officer told me that I will have an answer soon.
I think its more than 8 years of age difference. Why they waste time by interviewing an applicant 3 times. You can have lease in both names and live together but they do check if you are really living as a married couple.

It might be an error from GC printing unit or they waived since k2 are beneficiary of k1

Does not matter if money is involved. It is illegal.
http://www.cleveland.com/travel/index.ssf/2015/08/babysitter_versus_the_border_p.html
Also, a few years ago there was a member on here who's wife died during child birth. He asked his MIL to come over and help with the child while he worked and was grieving. The MiL visited as often as she could but then during a return visit to the US the border officer found out she was using the visitor visa to help with the child and was denied entry and had her visa revoked.
I'm hoping to find the thread to share with you.
Been discussed many times here that babysitting on a visitor visa is NOT allowed.
Coming over often will be suspicious.. I was talking about once every few years..

Hi dnp2014 - I have been on H1B since 2012.
They probably checking in your new marriage.. where did you divorce ? US ?

Also, plenty of threads of people wanting their parents (even from India) to come over on a B2 to help with childcare, which is against the rules.
B2 is for tourism, vacation, visit with friends or relatives etc
Its not a problem if they are looking over their own grandchildren's.. No money is involved then no issue

I'm not sure going for the B2 proves intention of only visiting, because I read plenty of changing of one's mind/circumstances and filing to adjust their status.
I know many do that but they are eligible for immigration before getting b2...
but if the above is the reason then they should never approve student visas.. there are plenty come with student visa (not eligible for immigration) with intention for AOS.

I don't even know what was worg with my address cosidering I received my 2 yr green card with no problems and approval letter from uscis arrived as well. I never changed my address either. Just frustrating why usps don't keep this mail for at least few days before they send it back. I was at the post office on the next day and couldn't tell me
where tha package is, so annoying....Now i know that it is on the way back to KY:(
You are on a informed delivery so you are able to see the address on the package ?

That is one of the biggest reasons for denials. A US citizen child can help change the status of their parent if that parent comes on a visitor visa and stays. It is a way to get them here without having to wait in their country for a family visa. That is one of the most common ways visitor visas are abused. And it is why most CO's ask about immediate family in the US.
I don't know if its based on the region.. I know many applicants from South India got B2 approved bec only reason they are parents of USC. They specifically states that they are coming over to see their children. Also the children submit I-134 to support them and the parents provide satisfactory documents.
The reason is this as parents of USC they are eligible for immediate immigration and it won't take much time (a year or less). Its very easy to prove relationship with parents. The parents decision not to immigrate and going for a b2 proves their intention is only to visit the children.
Maybe its due to the region. India is considered high fraud but few of the southern states are very low in fraud cases.

A weak argument for immigration.
What is more important, a grandparent seeing their grandchild regardless of where or a grandparent wanting to see if the child's bedroom has enough toys in it?
Why its weak.. I know plenty of approvals with the above reason...

They returned it the same they they trued to deliver it. And you donmt nedd to be home in order to receive it; they just drop it in your mailbox, it is priority mail no signature required. So I don't know what the problem was because i still don't understand how I could see the package in the USPS website scanned under my name but then undeliverable due to incorrect/incomplete address.
My bro is a mail carrier. He told me it depends on the region. The last +4 digits are for zones. The same PO receives the mail regardless of the last +4 digits. So they deliver it.
Also if the zip is wrong they will try to identify the PO belong to the address and will forward to them.

Finding a spouse is harder these days since most of the people want the girl in the country first now.
If the wait can be over 7 years, is it possible that my SIL2 applies for tourist visa while her application is in process?
My MIL can't leave her daughter abroad for more than 3 months so she has to go back every 3 months now which is why the reentry process until something changes in my SIL2 life.
SIL2 can apply after MIL filing I-30. Since she already have 3 rejections it will be a miracle to get a visitor visa approval
You should look for alternatives for her future.
1) Marrying to USC/LPR
2) Migrate to Europe/Middle East..
3) Marrying some one local.
