  1. awwww.......Nicalord, sorry to hear this.

I recall something similar happening to a particular user on VJ and if memory serves it was a 8week wait. I will see if I can locate the info.

stay encouraged and try to look on the bright side so you can get through this last leg of the journey. I know this is a great disappointment for you.

    Thanks a lot sbai2000.
I see i will waiting for more things, what disappointed was hear it.
ok, i am here, please let me know if you found info about it.
  2. Guys !!! very sad today I received bad new from US embassy.

A person called me and told me: Your visa is already printed, but you must wait 2 month for pick up to US embassy, because we are waiting sputum results from Dr. where you went. I said him: Sir. all test were made, i dont know why long time, this was not mentioned on the interview day.

He told me that i need wait in the end octuber for my passport with visa. it seems like AP after Visa issued.

Anyone knows if it really 8 weeks i must wait?

One of the two test was negative result, just need wait for sputum culture result.

    VERY SAD GUYS

    VERY SAD GUYS

  4. So its over 45 days since i submitted ds260 and my case is not complete. all i get to hear is that 'we are experiencing delays, kindly wait. you are not the only one'. i ask if something is wrong with my case and they tell me no everything looks fine. each and every agent says that. i call once or twice a week that maybe i wil get lucky on the fone! its just so disappointing.

Very sad heard it. Dont loss hope, maybe they are working with u case, take in mind the advance the last VB, its possible they are working with more cases.

  5. Im also confused coz they told me that they send me checklist on aug 10 so i waited that checklist. I called nvc again yesterday requesting them to resend that checklist to me or my husband's email but until now we still dont have that checklist. But for me, i send again those civil docs coz im tired waiting for it

You should wait, you dont have evidence what kind of docs you must submit them. Be patiente, I know this process is kiling but you need be quiet. Now review on your spouse's mail under spam email or review again, isnt it send an email to asknvc@state.gov, with explanation about your case they reply faster.

  8. Hey VJers, as promised, see my visa interview experience below:
We got to the emabassy about 7:15am as our (My daughter and I) was at 8am. Outside was 2 queues, 1 for 8am appointments and the other for 8:30 so ofcourse we join the 8am. A lady from the embassy was outside checking and verifying P4 cover for date and time of interview and persons. After this we went inside.
Once inside the Embassy, we were directed to the room where numbers were given. The lady then ask all persons being filed for to come to the front of the line. Once there, she gave us a number and told us that we should wait in chairs in the "A" section until called. The "A" section is for immigrants it seemed.
After about 30 minutes of waiting our number was called by a lady, she asked me our passports, medicals and pictures and all the original documents, then told us to have a seat. Then after about another 45-50 minutes, a gentleman (Interviewing Officer) called us and asked the following questions after having us swear to tell the truth:
    Who petitioned me?
    What's her name?
    How did we met?
How long have we been talking? (At this point I told him I have pictures of our relationship and he asked to see them. I had about 50)
Is my daughter the my wife's daughter too?
Who takes care of my wife and daughter since she's not working?
What the date of my marriage?
THEN he turned to my daughter (16yr not for my wife) and asked:
    Who do you live with?
How will she manage? (Since lives with her mom)
What is she planning to do in College?
Then he reviewed the documents, stamped a few papers and told us "congratulations your visa has been approved. You should get your package in 1-2 weeks."
We said "Thanks - have a great day." and he said "You're welcome. Same to you". And the hurdle was over; we were out of the embassy by 9:45am.
Hope my experience helps in some way.

    Good experience.

  9. Hi Nicalord, congrats on your approval.

  10. Hello everyone

i had my interview on August 17/2015 and for the past couple of days it was showing under administrative processing.

today, the status was changed to Issued.

what does it mean and what should i do next after getting the visa?

    please help thank you.

Today i reviewed it, the same like you.

I read that it means the Visa has been printed, it means we can pick up our passport is on place for collect it.

  11. Hi guys! here is my experience at the visa interview:

We got up at 4:00 AM (my wife and I), prepare two separate packages. One containing all civil documents, Affidavit of the petitioner and the co-sponsor, letter of interview, medical results sealed envelop, and passport photos. In another package, I took the test of our relationship such as receipts, printed emails, photos, ect.

Once inside the Embassy, headed in the second gate, where a girl gave us a number and it told us that we should wait in chairs separated by a tape, I guess that they separate visa applicants from non immigrant and the immigrant.

Last 1: 30 hours, a girl we call by our number and we get closer to the window where asked me for my passport and all the documents that we have, as I decided to go with my wife, she asked us both and after viewing the documentation you asked this:

What is the address where you live your wife?

With that often travels to Nicaragua?

    Do you have children?

How they met and the date they met?

Have you ever traveled once to United States?

What you phone number from the home of his wife?

Then reviewed the legal documents and I noticed that it reviewed the photos of our wedding, I offered him more photos as evidence and accepted them, after reviewing told us, take I return these documents since we don't need them, then after 3 minutes of silence and while she write in her computer she told us lets sit and waiting for the call voice of the consular officer for the interview.

After 5 minutes to hear my name on a speaker and I went with my wife and we get closer to the window, where he was an older man and told us "Good days" reply "good morning"

    Could you tell me:

    Where does your wife live?

    Where met it?

Tell me what is the date of your marriage?

    Do you have children?

After 6 seconds silence, said: "congratulations your visa has been approved, here are instructions for removing your Passport, good morning"

After that I felt a respite and calm in my that everything had ended.

    Thank you for everything.
