I received the email notification today said "On November 24, 2014, we approved your Form I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, Receipt Number XXXXXX. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice.""

By the way, may I know what kind of the instructions in the notice I need to take action? Provide extra supporting document or else?

So I got curious and checked my I-94 again.. and when I clicked on the travel history.. the only thing was showing was my arrival on the 24th of April 2014 through LAX and NO departure listed.

Should I be worried? My I-94 only allowed me to stay til the 23rd of October and I left the US before that... Should they have actually recorded that when I left the US? Used Tourist Visa here.

what's the difference between the California service center, Vermont service center, Texas Service Center, Chicago lock box, Arizona lock box? When u read the I-130 instructions, it says to send my info to the chicago lock box. When I read peoples profiles here it says the service centers. I'm confused

Service centers process your petition while Lock Boxes is where you send them...

Follow the instructions on the I-130 as to which lock box you will be sending (as you stated Chicago) and then it's up to them (lock box) which service center they will forward your petition.

We got our NOA2 email from USCIS this afternoon. Our I-130 petition was approved on the 17th!

When do you actually need the hardcopy of your NOA1? I have read here how many couples have not received either one of their NOAs by mail due to unreliable postal services, but still gone through the process successfully.

You are correct Susan, my apologies for that. For some reason it stuck to my mind (after going through so many sites) that hard copies might be asked during an interview but that might not make sense at all. thank you for correcting me and I apologise to Velvety if I had made her worry about it.

Hi guys, I'm new here and just as confused.

I mailed my husband's I-130 on October 27th, got an email on november 5th stating they received our case and fowarded to California center. We still have not received our NOA1 hardcopy in the mail. I am a bit worried. I checked the status online and says:

On November 3, 2014, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number XXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by December 3, 2014, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

So what now?? What is the next step once I receive it? Once it gets approved will they send the NOA2 packet? Sorry, very confused keeping all these steps straight.

hopefully you'll get the hardcopy soon! if not don't forgot to inquire with them regarding it because you'll need the hardcopy for later.

Nebraska and I checked with my wife and our request for a NSO Marriage Certificate was expedited on Sept 30th so hopefully she can get it now. She will go there Monday Philippines time. I will also call as I see they can send by courier to me for a fee.

Did you turn in the NSO copy or local register?

I don't think an NSO copy at our end was needed because we got married in the US. Where was your marriage taken place? We submitted certified copies of the courthouse marriage.

I got the RFE in the mail today wanting a NSO Marriage Certificate. Normally from my research on this fourm the local is accepted at USCIS and the NSO copy is needed at the NVC.

These take a long time, but I did ask my finance to request advance endorsement so hopefully we will get it soon. I'll also make a request online.

I guess the good part is they are already adjudicating. I hope I get it in time as they gave me a deadline.

Sent our docs october 1st week,and october 15 we received a mail that they received our petition.And on november 5 our case was approved and they sent it to NVC.

I just checked mine and I can see my status and they have corrected now my PD it was Nov when it's supposed to be Oct. I guess they're fixing their site slowly

I guess it's just their website being glitchy since they just updated it...

I'm starting to become very upset and worried! I received my text and email notifications on October 16 that our petition was accepted and routed to Nebraska. The receipt date is October 14. I received the letter in the mail, I believe, on October 21. I STILL cannot find our case number online. I did call the customer service number a few weeks ago regarding a correction to the beneficiary's name, and I asked about when I would be able to locate our case online. They said 30-45 days, but many of you seem to already be able to locate your case numbers online! I don't understand!

If you have the hardcopy of NOA1, it's alright some say that some people take a while to see their cases online, some don't even get to see until they get approved or an RFE.. and some people just don't see their status online at all.. it's their site being buggy/glitchy I hope. Those are from the threads I've read and people who answered mine. Fingers crossed you'd see yours soon! So sorry to hear that, I know it can be worriesome/stressful as we all just want to get done with this process and be with our loved ones!

Mine says the same when my priority date is the 20th of October my case was touched november the 5th so I hope I'm not a November filer better just be a glitch

So uscis revamped their site, but looks kind of confusing.. Anyone had the same weird status as mine? We got Noa1 hard copy on the 26th of October, but my case reflected online on 5th of November..
