We had our interview today, finally. My husband got approved for his green card. 

All documents have to be translated in English. I used Language Oasis to translate my husbands documents from Haitian Creole to English. 

We finally received an interview date for March 20, 2017.

We are still waiting for a interview date, I thought we would be done by now.  .

Make an infopass, ask for a real IO and ask if they can start the RFE clock over.

I made an Infopass Appointment for October 27, 2016, that's the earliest appointment they had. We will see how that goes.

Call and ask to speak to a supervisor and have him or her fax it to you. That is what i did cause same thing happened to me.

I don't have a personal fax machine, And I don't want it fax to my job since I only work weekend nights, I don't want it to get misplaced or thrown away.

We filed AOS in March 2016 and we were mailed an but never received. According to the USCIS website they mailed the RFE on August 31,2016, on September 14, 2016 we didn't receive it in the mail so I submitted a request to have it mailed again. According to the website it expires on September 30, 2016, and on September 29, 2016 I called the USCIS to find out when it was going to be sent, I was told to call back in 15 business days. We are still waiting now it's October 11, 2016., and still getting the run around. How long does it really take to receive an RFE, Just wondering we the send a denial letter for not responding on time.

Update: I really don't understand this process.

I called the USCIS today to see when it was mailed, I was told to wait 15 business days and give them a call back. Still waiting to receive RFE in the mail I called USCIS, on September 29, 2016 to find out again when they will be sending the hard copy of the RFE in the mail no one can give me a clear answer, the date to respond to the RFE expire on September 30, 2016.

Received text message from USCIS I thought it was good news on September 6, 2016, but it is a request for additional information (RFE), :crying:

I feel the same way, my husband had to redo his entire medical exam with a civil surgeon here in Memphis, TN, $700 dollars. I really don't understand why they don't give the vaccinations in Haiti but they don't. Still highly pissed now that some BS.

My fiance and I are about to start the process to apply for a fiance visa in a few months. He is 29 and I am 48. I am worried because I have been reading that a large age gap may be a reason for visa denial. We have been together for four years and are very much in love. He is currently in Haiti and I am in the US. What type of documentation should we have that will help our case? Thank you!

I am 12 years old then (44) my husband (32) and during the interview in Haiti, the young woman interview us never asked about our age gap. We had our interview in August 2015.

My fiancé and I went to the social security office two weeks after POE and he received his ssn card in 5 days. He only needed his passport and I-94., I asked the officer if he needed to see his birth certificate with translation he said no. Oh we also live in Tennessee.

So thanks to the Grace of God my fiancé was approved for his K1 visa. He is one step closer to getting to me. But one thing that has me anxious is because they us consulate told my fiancé that he should receive his visa in 5-8days. I maybe jumping the gun here but I am nervous because every time I check the status their is no update on the passport and my case is still left on ready. How long did it take people to get their visa from Haiti and is all this normal?
