  1. Hi everyone,

Now I know how annoying and frustrating it is for you to all hear but I want to share this and hope it might help you all too.

    my case got approved today!

For the last few days I have been going crazy - and sending emails to two different representatives, got my fiancé to call and pressure the USCIS for answers (for which we tried to inquiry an expedite for our case), and I even wrote a very length email directly to TSC itself.

I have NO idea if any of these things helped our case but all of a sudden it got approved.

I have seen others go through the exact same thing and then be approved the next day, so I am suggesting you continue to do EVERYTHING you can to be heard. Send letters and emails, make phone calls. Keep going!

This wait sucks. Beyond words can even explain.

I am happy but anxious for you all still. I don't know how it happened because Nov approvals have been scarce.

So make some noise and get in there and even if you think it wont help, try it because it doesn't hurt.

I'll be floating around still for support for you all, and I really hope you get the quick approvals you ALL deserve.

    xx

    Congratulations!!!!!!

  2. I had my interview yesterday in Atlanta and passed. Now finally a citizen! woohoo.

We drove up from Alabama the day before and stayed at a hotel down the street from USCIS to be sure there were no delays and we got there on time. They don't let you check-in earlier than 30 minutes from your appointment, but you can go inside and clear security and wait if you like., They have vending area and restrooms etc.

Interview took less than 10 minutes. Aced the test, didn't have to provide any evidence (I filed based on 5 year residency) and he marked my case as approved. I was booked in for the same day oath ceremony later that day. The ceremony was quite brief, they were expediting it as there was 100 people taking the oath! We swore allegiance, watched a video from the president and accepted our naturalization certificates. Glad it's all over, what a ride. Now to update SSN, driver's license, get a passport, register to vote... :)

    Good luck to everyone else!

  3. A light at the end of the horrible TSC tunnetl perhaps? I've started tracking all TSC 129F petitions electronically and updating them in real-time to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of TSC processing times: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/548621-finally-real-time-data-on-tsc-129f-receipt-numbers-src/. Please let me know if you want to get the updates.
