OK, mailed the RFE package on Saturday and this afternoon received a text message alerting me that our case status was updated on the USCIS website. I signed in, clicked on the i-485, and it said YOUR CASE HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!
 
That means the green card will soon be in the mail without interview, right? RIGHT?!?!??!

During our interview (AOS) the interviewer asked how come myself and my now (USC) husband started 'dating' 3 years before my divorce, I explained that in Ireland you have to be separated 4 years before you can apply for Divorce and then that can take a further year. He was happy with that answer. They know a divorce can take time (really long time in Ireland, ha!) and even though they may ask they know it happens all the time.

You're welcome. I know it's a pain in the ### to get an RFE but the good thing is they're working on your case for sure and the RFE items are easy for you to sort out, fingers crossed that you are close to the finish line now!!

It's his own fault and deserves no sympathy. When so many are caught up in long waiting list what gives him the right to jump ahead? 
 
He went on an Irish tv documentary about undocumented Irish immigrants that was aired a few weeks ago and talked about his fears of being picked up and deported, so he knew he was wrong.  Surely along with other participants of the documentary he had to know that the US authorities would be watching. He can't flaunt his illegal status on tv and expect to get away with it, one word gobsh**e
 
Also there was a warrant out for his arrest for larceny.

Thanks, Sparkles. I remember the officer saying it had been transferred to "the" local office, so of course now I'm wondering if that means CSC or VSC or "our" local office. Gaaaaaaaah. I guess there's nothing left to do but hurry up and wait. If we don't get a letter by end of June, we'll call again or make an InfoPass appointment.
 
So appreciative that several of the March 2016 family are still checking the forum after getting GCs...the May/June filers were a bust, haha. I'd rather continue to wait with you guys, as long as you're checking! 

Hey guys! So I have been gone for about 2 months, and have finally access to electronics again! yey, ow and internet...!!! haha. I really hope all of you have had GOOD news so far. My thoughts are with those that haven't gotten it yet. But I am sure you all will!! Keep hope and faith.
 
I only have a little update about myself. Since may 10th I am a u.s. citizen (yes, no joke, I am). And as of may 12th I can call myself a sailor as well =). I am still in schooling, and in june I'll be moving to Virginia. Things went so fast!!! But ofc. I haven't forgotten about you all! <3

Just checked got an email and texts - My I-485 has been updated and "my card has gone into production!"

My cases generally never updated in the electronic system, so I don't know. If USCIS received the EAD applications on Jan 12, it could be they didn't get actually punched into their system until Jan 24. Overall the online register is flawed beyond repair, I wish I had better news for you @Linyahui! And it's totally okay to start taking breaks from the system and the forum and try to re-focus on your actual life here. This is just stupid bureaucracy.

No, no updates here. I've joined the June 2016 filers, because it looks like March, April, and May groups have all pretty much gotten interviews and GCs at this point. Will still check in here though and update you guys if we hear anything. Not counting on it anytime soon. 

We got the welcome letter yesterday. It's finally done! Now just waiting for the GC, got notices of them being mailed as well

Today we got our approval emails saying new card being produced. 818 days total. We have finally ###### done it, at long last. It's surreal. 

Will do. Thanks for all the support. Believe it or not, my biggest paranoia now is that somehow our i130 would be re opened and revoked or interviewed because of what the IO initially said about it. I literally don't trust a thing said, so her telling me at the end it was fine means bunk to me. I believe I'm off to have a glass of wine and sleep, and hope I have a status update tomorrow morning, lol. 

We are pretty certain that she will approve us because she didn't ask for other info and said she didn't see any negatives. It's just a wait to see when hopefully 

Oh Sparkles, that sounds like you were put through the ringer! Although you didn't get approval today, you didn't get denied, I pray you hear as really soon. You are so close to the finish line. Well done on keeping it together!!

Well guys, tomorrow morning is our big day. We are currently at the hotel and just waiting what is hopefully the last few hours of this journey

We had our interview today, finally. My husband got approved for his green card. 
 

After our interview I took some of the pictures from the album we put together and put them in a big frame and put it on our family room wall. Those pictures are part of our journey (both hubby and I hate being in pictures and every trip we reluctantly took "for the green card" pics). Now they're my favorite photos and I smile when I see them proudly displayed in our home.
