Hang in their, all that will pay off! Yes my ARN changed right after they received my 129f, then i just waited until the noa2..when you call do you give the 130 receipt #? If not try that because maybe they are looking at your 129 and not your 130..?.. I dont know.. But i know how u feel..i hope you get good news soon!!

I can't understand why the UK would do such a think it's just mean and cruel doesn't make any sense at all. Yes they fill up the country with immigratns legal and otherwise and hand out money like it grows on tress. What is wrong with all these governments? Sorry I have beautiful friends from the UK that have suffered because of this in so many ways. To all the stupid governments of the world!

I dont understand why fiancees get to skip nvc! ? its like theyre letting 2 people who are nothing yet be together alot faster than families...husband and wife, kids etc... ?

Hello Boris&Kassie.. I wanted to know how many days after filing I130, did u guys file for I129F?

My husband had filed I-130 for me at Nebraska on 19th March and we are still waiting... 6 months now

Then, we filed I-129F in June... Since we filed two months later, is that the reason for delay in approval? Really disheartened...

Hello, i thought the same thing, since i filed the 129 a month after i thought i would get approval after 6 months jnstead of 5, but on my exact 5 months i called and they told me i had to wait a bit longer, however i got approved 2 days later, have you called them? I say you call constantly, it doesnt hurt, you might get someone who will pull out your petition from the batch!

I received my Noa2 on 8/22/2014 stating my case was approved and has been sent to nvc...... however on 9/4/14 I also received a letter saying the same thing... Does anyone know why this happened and which one is the correct date?

Hello, i got the same thing! 2 approval letters, my attorney said to ignore the 2nd one..that its just a mess at uscis.. Judt keep it with the first one

TO ALL MEXICO FILERS:

I called NVC today and to my surprise, Ciudad Juarez consulate is no longer doing Electronic Processing. Jim from NVC stated that Juarez tried doing EP but it didn't work out and 6 months ago they went back to normal mailing in AOS/IV packages.

Thanks, Tavotevi. That's probably because i'm only early in the process. Unfortunately, NVC likes to hand out checklists (that add 60 days) for very small reasons so it might not always look this smooth sailing.

My husband is being "removed" from my country (UK) in a couple of weeks for no reason other than I used to be a US resident and the UK thinks I can move back. My 5 year old daughter and I are heartbroken but if i'm lucky with the rest of the process we should all be reunited by January (I hope).

Be sure to fill out your signature and keep your timeline up to date. Also, feel free to complain and share your thoughts. The people in this thread are quite lovely

It might be until his jnterview ? who knows how long that will take.. I called NVC also and they said the same thing to me about the I-129F, but the great news is that we dont need this anymore.

The only thing the I-129F was good for is to speed up the process at USCIS, so it's actually a good thing it is cancelled. Now we will get the CR1 visa which is alot better and cheaper in the long run. I'm still waiting for them to recieve my case at NVC. They said it can take up to 25 days, so I'm hoping you will post if you find out before I do when they recieve yours because ours were shipped on the same day. I also noticed where they've changed some things up where we can ship our AOS and IV packages together. I think that will be great also. If i remember correctly you are going through the process with a lawyer, which makes everything faster I hear. Check out travel.state.gov

I will definetly let you know if any update, i plan to call next week. For now my lawyer wants my taxes and my joint sponsors along with a copy of his passport. She wants to revise them and have them ready to be sent out. I was also looking at the bright side of everything and we will now be nothing but positive ? i got feedback from another timeline..i noticed it took about a month to get a case #.. And from then on 8/8 til now he has sent everything already, he is now waiting for a case complete or a checklist..which is when they say to expect a notice within 60 days..so that gave me a timeframe of around 4 months..of course you never know. But lets hang in their!! We have made it this far! I also came across this info and i really liked it..

Hello and welcome!

My signature and timeline should hopefully tell you quite a bit. My case was expedited at USCIS and was approved on July 10th and then it took around a month to submit the first "form" (DS-261) to NVC on Aug 13th. I then paid the AOS fee on Aug 14th and sent my documents the following week. I sent both the AOS and IV documents together and waited from Aug 13th to today to receive the IV fee. Therefore, i've only been at NVC since the end of July. I now need to wait "at least 60 days" from my last scan date (Sep 3rd) before a checklist or case complete.

I understand you completely! Last time i cried was yesterday when NVC told me they were going to cancel my 129f.but now i just pray for time to go by fast..i know its going to be a few more months but i think we are halfways through this!

Hello, im new to the whole NVC process.. And after seeing your timeline and the one below i see you guys have alot of activity within 1 month after you received a case #.. How far in the process are you at this step..(meaning in time), i guess just like everyone else i would like to know what time frame to expect...thank you in advance!

The way NVC is right now i say do both!

When i called i called the number that came in the noa1, they answered right away, i called tuesday, got approved friday. Keep calling!

You can send the AOS package and NVC at the same time, I didn't. The IV just won't get looked at until after it's paid for.

AOS- tax info, pay stubs

IV- certified copies + photo copies of birth and marriage certificates, 2 passport photos, police certificates and bio page from passport

If you send them together, definitely seperate them and lable them.

Mine too! Exactly the same! Yay! I had a little hiccup with my address so my receipt for the I-130 wasn't delivered, but I called them today and they said to mark October 12th on my calendar as the date it should be fixed by. But my case was already shipped to NVC, so I think waiting for the official receipt shouldn't be too bad. It put my status back to initial review, but ill keep checking to see if that changes. They will probably mail it before the status changes back. Fingers crossed.

Mine still says post decision, so i guess now we wait a week or 2 to get case received and case #,

I know some people here at VJ are discouraging you to file an I-129F petition for your spouse for a K3/K4 visa, if I would have listened to them and done that I would not be in the place I am right now.

My wife and daughter just received their K3 and K4 visas and will be joining me soon. I can be exception to the rule many will say, but if I did not file I would still be waiting for my I-130 to be approved or stuck at NVC like many other filers. Filing the I-129F does not cost anything to file, just time to file and maybe $8 dollars express mail it with return receipt. If she enters on a K3 she will have to adjust status and spend an additional $1070 (given that your child will be a US citizen once is born and will get a US passport).

If I was you I would file both petitions if you can afford the extra cost if she enters the US on a K3 visa and if timing is an issue I think the extra money is well worth it.

My 130 was shipped yesterday, and my 129 today

I got 2 letters in the mail for the I-129. Stating they'd sent it to the consulate and I got an email saying my I-130 has been shipped today. Im a little confused why I got two letters about the I-129, but glad the I-130 has been sent.

Wow thats good news guys good luck...my husband call USCIS what they do is just request for follow up and call them again after 30 days but we are already outside the processing frame...still hopeful for this month pray pray pray...
