  1. The thing is my husband told me our lawyer said it wasnt neccesary, I dnt live with my husband either, but w manage to see each other once a month, he left on saturday night, I mean I know it has nothing to do but our lawyer said our case was really simple and clean, I always had tourist visa and I studied abroad for 2 years in the states, back then I was a resident and I got ssn and drivers, I am sure will be all approved soon! Is there any way that you can visit your hubby?

    .

Sorry for the late response! You are so lucky, my husband never got a visa, he never applied for it. Im going back to mex in 10 days, im finally gona return after 3 months. So once i leave it will be 3 months since noa1, my positive side tells me that we might be halfways in time for approval. My negative side tells me that i shouldnt get my hopes up n that it might take even a year :( my lawyer told me it might be between 6-9 months, but i see alot of waiting here inVJ...i hope its as easy as you say it is, we dont have any past to be worried about... Its just a matter of being patient i guess... Thanks for your positivity though!

  2. Sorryy for the late anwser, my husband is the petitioner, I have no idea about the 129, I will ask our lawyer but I believe we didnt! Did you hear anything yet? Are u at tsc?

No news yet, but after i received my receipt for my 130 i filed a 129, and right after i got an alien case # assigned. Have u gotten one? U should really look into the 129, its free and its just one more option..although if accepted it is a little more expensive. It depends on your situation i guess. I dont live in mexico with my husband so thats why we are willing to pay if it gets here sooner, im at nebraska service center :(

  3. looks like your files has been combined and your spouse has been assigned a ARN. You still need to wait for April End or May for the Backgroung Check to Initiate or file get transfered to another Service Center. Pray that you get lucky to be Ajudicated prior to 6 mos. Unfortunately I-129F (K-3) won't be any help.

If your receipt # starts with MSC, they are very slow. The others, I won't comment on it.

Hello, do you have an idea of how long it takes to get approved after you get assigned an ARN? Thanks in advance

  4. Thanks for the responses! My first 3 letters are LIN, originally i sent it to california, i was worried because it took almost 4 weeks to get my noa1, and then i got it from nebraska. Then 3 days later i got an update that my alien number has changed, my noa1 is dated 4/24, its been 1 month, after 2 months i plan to call and see if they can explain anything over the phone, ill keep you guys posted if any changes occur , good luck to all of us

  5. Hi, My I129F has been transferred to NSC on 26th Feb 2014 and now its stated that The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. but my applicant living area is California.

    I129F NOA1: 18th Oct 2013

NOA T1 -To another office: 25th Feb 2014

NOA T2 - To Your local office : 26th Feb 2014 (Mail Received and mentioned that it sent to Nebraska Service Center)

    NOA Touched : 28th Feb 2014

Can you please comment on this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,

    blsuda

Hello, my 129f was also transferred to nsc, but i am confused because they do not process 129fs...? Can you give me an update on your case please. So far the only thing ive heard is that i have an a# assigned.

  6. They did not send notifications for when someone was assigned their A# when we filed the I-129F. Everyone gets an A#. It is not really any sort of indication of approval.

Did you file an I-129F petition for a K-1? Your profile says K-3, and your timeline shows just the filing of an I-129F and the Nebraska Service Center. Nebraska does not process I-129F petitions.

I filed a 130 and a 129f, since im already married it becomes a k3 , however the application 129f is for both k1 and k3. I learned that anytime fiancee is written during this process it also means spouse. I got an email that an a# was assigned to my 129f, thats why i was asking you about it. I also realized about nebraska center not processing 129fs :( i think they just added my 129f to my 130 :/

Btw i originally sent my 129f to csc, idk why it got sent nsc...my luck!

Please let us know your ciudad juarez interview experience! Thats where we will be going, can u tell us when did your alien registration # change? Thats where im at rite now with my 130,

  10. Unfortunately the 6.4 months wait its only for the NOA2 still I am praying hard that it will be before that, after the 1r0 is approved they sent your case to the NVC then to thw consulate and that whole thing can last 2 to 5 monthz or more, I believe everything is case by case, money, papers all that, hopefully we dont have to wait long and we can all be with our loved ones by Thanksgiving

Hello, im right behind you, my pd date is 3/30 and i will also go through ciudad juarez, good luck! Did you also do a 129?

  11. I have no way to know how quickly your K-1?(says K-3 in your profile) will be processed. All you can do is check the processing times for your service center for an estimate. Once approved, it will need to go through the NVC and then onto Juarez. Once Juarez has your case and you get your case # from the NVC, then you can go ahead and follow the instructions for Juarez by filling out the DS-160, registering at the site you are directed to in the instructions and paying the visa processing fee and then seeing the available calendar in order to schedule your interview and ASC appointment. Guesstimate a few months for I-129F petition approval and then another month or 2 until you interview.

Thanks for the info, ive done research and its very alike. Do you recall how long after your registration number was changed did you get your noa2..( your petiton approval) ?

  12. It appears you need to schedule your own interview, so you will be able to choose from the dates available that show up when scheduling. Sometimes there are dates farther away you can choose. It all depends on what is available when you go to schedule.

Im will have to go to ciudad juarez too, however im barely beginning. I just got my noa1, and an update that i got an alien registration number, do u know how long it will be to get my noa2? And how quick can you schedule your interview?

  13. Considering the rapidity which people who were lucky enough to get routed to CSC are getting approved, I thought I would make this thread for those of us who filed in April and were routed to TSC. As a place to discuss the waiting period, but mostly because seeing CSC people getting approved after two weeks is heart breaking.

So post away my fellow TSC filers!

I filed april 7, received my noa1 today. I also received an update that i was assigned an alien registration #...

  14. Hi everybody,

An update on my K-3. I just called NVC and they received my case from Texas Service Center.

Sandy (lovely, patient lady) gave me my case, IID and Beneficiary #'s! I asked her what comes next. She said in 3-4 days start logging onto the embassy's website in Cairo to see if they received my case. She indicated that my file was being mailed out today!

Now i have no idea what this all means since my i-130 hasn't even been looked at yet. I'm hoping my K-3 gets to Cairo quickly and an interview gets scheduled before they touch the I-130. However, Sandy said sometimes they will pull the I-130 to pair it up and send it to Cairo as well. And according to her, since my K-3 has already been approved there is nothing that should keep my I-130 from getting approved.

So long story short, at the very least I am thinking that inshallah my I-130 will be approved much sooner than i thought and I shaved off a couple months off the wait.

If that's what happens, then my advice to anyone wondering if the 1-129 K-3 is worth it.YES ABSOLUTELY![/

Congrats! I wish i was you right now! Can u tell us your timeline? When did you file your 130 and your k3, i just sent my 130 in march and 129 in april. And already so anxious?
