Received text/email that my 130 got shipped to dept of state for visa processing

if I call i get my papaer aproved ?

The only reason i recommended to call was because when i reached my 5 months exactly i called, and they told me it was too early to call, but 2 days later i got approved, maybe its a coincedence ir maybe they pulled out my case..i guess we dont know but it certainly didnt hurt ☺️

a lot of april are been aprove i hope it get to april 10th soon

What you feel is normal , it can be a little scary to leave behind the life we had, i am from México, i wont be crossing the ocean like you, but still I will be leaving family, friends, and the job I have had for 6 years. Hello, i see your timeline and notice after your noa2 everything moved quickly! I just got my 129f approved! I hope it goes as fast as it did for you!! ? but im confused because my approval letter said it went to the listed consulate, so it doesnt go to NVC?

any april files?? my is the 10th do you no if there are aproving aprils?

I'd like to answer this question as I have expedited my case.

So i heard that if I send Expedite request for the CR1 the NVC will forward it to the Embassy and the embassy will decide. is that right?

Answer > NVC will only send expedited request to the embassy if USCIS has approved your case. The local embassy will now takeover the case to confirm your submission like Affidavit of Support, Police clearances, and filling-up of DS-260 in which case your approved status will be deemed final upon your final interview with the local embassy .

Only approved and valid reasons will be expedited . Not all cases are expedited even if you send an expedite request.

if yes i have few questions,

1- Does the embassy or the NVC have the final word on this ? and can the NVC deny it before forwarding it to the embassy ?

Answer > NVC can deny expedited request and will follow usual timeframe .However , NVC will only process approve petitions from USCIS...If your papers are sent to the embassy , then you already have 80% chances of getting your final approval.

2- " IF " the NVC stated that they forwarded the request to the US embassy, does calling or emailing the embassy to follow the request and explaining more about it will actually help or it doesnt matter, or its better not to contact them ?

Answer > It takes about a week for papers to be sent to the embassy , emailing or calling them helps as this will confirm the urgency of your initial request.

Thank u for the info! I think it helped me alot! I just got approved for my 130 and my k3, the 130 got sent to nvc but my k3 got sent to the listed consulate, so i was wondering if my k3 didnt get cancelled like alot of people said it would! I really hope so ?

Thanks, yeah my K3 did not get cancelled because my I-130 petition is still at VSC while my I-129F got approved by TSC and then it was sent to NVC first to get a case number assigned and immediately left to the embassy in Peru. I think it all depends when which one reaches first NVC. I wish you luck and hopefully they don't cancel yours and it gets process first :-)

I live in India and my husband had filed I-129 f and I-130. Finally after 5 months of wait, both have been approved on Sep 3rd.

Priority dates

I-129F - April 15th

I-130 - April 4th

Our application was routed to Nebraska and got approved without any transfer out of the center. We just thought to let the community know.

Was your 130 sent to nvc and your k3 to the lusted consulate? I just received both notices. Does that mean my k3 did not get cancelled?

Congratulations!!! Hope you have a speedy process at NVC as well. Very foutunate your case was approved in five months. Maybe is an indication things will get normalized again at the service centers :-)

Hi guys i just received my noa2 for my 130 and k3. My 130 notice says they will be shipping it to NVC, and the k3 has been sent to the listed consulate in mexico. Does that mean that my k3 did not get attached to my 130? I really hope so!

So then i called my attorney and said she would contact mexico consulate and make sure it got their (k3). And regarding the 130 we have to wait until they receive our case and get a case #, she said meanwhile to gather my tax info, mandatory is the 2013, but she is also sending 2012 & 2011 along with a sponsor (my brothers taxes). She said we cant waste any time because of how behind NVC is right now. I will scan my notices tomorrow to her and she will call me back.

Sorry if im confusing the ones who have not gotten approved, but hopefully our cases will help you guys do everything correctly and faster and soon we will all be in the same steps! ☺️?

Yeh its great we´re all staying in this thread so we can share our NVC experience as we´re all processing the same type of visa. So I finally got a hold of my lawyer on Friday, it seems that he kept the original birth certificate from the I-130 application as well as the marriage certificate. So what he requested in order to proceed are the following documents.

My priority date with USCIS was March 27th, I was approved on July 31st.

NVC registered my approval on August 21st, my attorney received an email from NVCAttorney@state.gov with a PDF letter attached, IV and AOS invoices which were avialable for payment immediately. I paid both and they were in process for a day, showed as PAID the next day. So now Im waiting for my attorney to send the AOS package which he will do today after I send him the PDF version of taxes and all. I will mail him remaining docs for IV application tomorrow.

AOS:

2013 Taxes - My spouse has been working here in Spain where we both live so he only requested last years filing.

Letter from employer stating the gross annual income.

Pay stubs for the last year.

IV:

• 2 Passport pictures
• Copy of passport (photo page only)
• Police clearance certificate from Spain
• Birth certificate, long version with name of parents- Make sure these are translated and carry the Apostille in order to be valid in the US. Well Spain and Uruguay are both part of the Hague Apostille program so thats what I had to do.
• Marriage certificate

This is all the info I have for now, will keep everyone posted.

Yes, I rather stick around here as we all progress through NVC. The other thread as you said is very confusing and everyone is negative and upset lol. My trust is in God and his perfect timing. He is in control, I have struggled recently as my attorney stresses me out sometimes. After our approval, we received the IV and AOS fees which I was able to pay and both cleared within 24 hs. He took two weeks to get back to me with the list of docs I need for the IV and AOS packages. So I gathered info from here and started getting those ready. I guess its hard for me to trust someone else 100%, it irritates me when they dont feel a sense of urgency for those of us who count each and every day. I decided to not stress anymore and just let him do his work. I wont question anything else, its not easy. Pray that everyone is in the states for the Holidays. Nothing is impossible to God.

I felt exactly the same way when I tried to move to the next threads. After really depressing myself, I thought the same as you. Every case is different. I did notice there were several types of filers. I think not everybody at nvc is filing for spouses. I dunno for sure. But im sure that would make a difference. There are alot of factors that play into it I think. Also if paperwork is filed correctly and if you get check listed. I think ill hang around on this thread also. Maybe peek occasionally on the nvc thread, but it was really confusing.

We can keep each other posted on our updates here, along with any advice we might get elsewhere ? ill definetly post what our lawyer tells us after i receive our noa2 letter...hoping it helps all of us, still praying for everyone left for approval ? i will stay positive and think of a 3 month more time frame..until i hear more..it might not be realistic but it sure keeps me from getting depressed.. Hi everyone, so after going to the nvc thread.. I realized its extremely quick and confusing and jt even put me down because all they talk a out is how they have been waiting for months..of course each case is different and its too much to study each.. So since us march filers are moving to the nvc around the same time, maybe we can stick through our process on this thread..? Of course we can still see the others ones but believe me its alot..and it made me feel lost after i was so happy to get approved ?

Oh hunny so excited for u! After 3 months I am pretty sure u are super happy!! Cheerish every sec of it!! Dont let ur negative side shadow the love. Just think that by next year this time you will be with him. I am not going to lie, I get desperate, anxious, jealous, sad pretty often lately I hate this situation as much as eveyone else going thru this, but I am not gonna let this shitty situation win. Like my hubby said, we may be away but our love has no borders, we have hope, hope for a brighter future, hope that after this we are goin to be together, just a matter of time, thats our pain, not being able to be where we want in this exactly moment. Dont allow yourself to get sad over the stuff u read here, we are all moving forward and despite all the crazy stuff u see here we are moving and our time is coming, we are closer than yesterday!! I am positive I am going to be there by Oct-Nov in fact thats what I tell everyone. I believe it, God is by my side .

Hello, i just got approved yesterday, so sad to hear nvc is taking months..have you heard differently..? I havent seen my lawyer until i receive my noa2.. Has yours told you a timeframe from here and on?? I wish i knew how long more ?

It's <current month> NVC thread. It's not like for USCIS where we were separated by file date... everyone is together and at the end of the month that NVC thread is closed and the following month's thread is open. That means it's kind of a mess and there are like 10 pages of posts per day...

Thanks guys! I said this in the nsc thread! I called on tuesday only because it was 2 days more than my 5 months and they told me it was still within normal time...but i feel it helped and they touched my petition, it didnt hurt i say u guys give it a try if u get to your 5 months!
