I can't tell you the average time but the expedite case I know through Madrid embassy went like this:

Sorry to hear you are going through all of that.
Have you consider to do an expedite request based on the job situation? Madrid embassy accept that situation as a valid one for a expedite request. Maybe Geneva does too.

Hey guys, how long should I wait to request an earlier interview date after I get assigned the first one? Let's say tomorrow I find out that they have scheduled me for early February... Should I email and ask the embassy right away?

We got our CC on December 13th and never got an email although every time I call they confirm with me that information.
No scheduling for Spain yet.

So i was in hold with NVC through Skype for 40 minutes when finally Jake got my call. I was about to give him all the info about my case when my husband call me on facetime and guess what? Skype TURN OFF MY FREACKING CALLLLLLL
As if my life needed more drama.
So, I called again (husband was still at work, so we decided I'd call and he would just wait QUIET for my call back)
30 minutes later Max got my call and when I asked:
"I wonder if you have any news about my case?"
He said:
"well, we received and accepted all your docs, now just waiting for a interview to be scheduled"
I was like
"Wait..so do I have a case complete?" (I need to hear that)
he said "Yes m'am!"
I wa slike "MAX YOU BRIGHTENED MY DAY, HOPE YOUR FRIDAY BE ### GOOD AS MINE WILL BE!"
he laughed, thank me and said "Glad I could bring some good news to you."

I haven't seen many people with October scan dates. Just a few compared with September. And some of them got cleared by having September scan dates too. I wonder if they will get faster through this month.

In our case we provided those emails and phone number when we called requesting the case and invoice numbers

I just tried to call them and after 34340 times spamming "redial" button I successfully contacted them. I'm using Google Voice on the Gmail website and no problem at all.

Got our case number today (assigned yesterday)! 20 days of waiting since they received the paperwork from the CSC.
About how long are we looking at for the invoices to be posted? The representative on the phone said they can spend up to 20 business days working on this alone

Finally received our NOA1 this morning (after 3 long weeks of waiting for the I-130 to arrive to Chicago from Spain). It´s been rerouted to the California Service Center

We did, and I just checked and a bunch of updates are displayed for yesterday! It has left the Sorting Facility in NY and seems to be en route to Chicago Yay!
