Fan_dancer ...I never mentioned passport in my post ..our child is a u.s citizen and lives in the u.s ..thank you
I know you didn't. I was talking about this:
Well if you are a citizen of US and your child was born in US why didn't you just get the baby's passport?
How were you able to take baby out the country? With just the Birth certificate?
-
The relevance is that the COs are suspicious about the son not being biologically of the couple, and thus likely suspicious of the whole relationship. It is quite unusual to ask for a DNA test on a US citizen child (assuming the child has his US passport), so the questions dwheels asked are claryfying that.
It is also confusing because the OP says that the son was born in the USA, but that they live together, but are applying for a K1.
That part was very clear. I did not understand the question about the child's passport.

Wow, hardly fair for those who have been waiting for months. But that's USCIS for ya'!
Congratulations!

When was your medical taken? Add one year to that and you will find the expiration date.
I guess by "expired last July" you mean the 90 days expired, which makes me think your entrance to the US was in late April, which makes me think your interview and medical were-obviously - before that. Therefore, I think you need a new medical, as the old one expired.

What is the relevance of these questions?

I see few have asked the more pertinent questions:
1. Do you have the money to adjust status?
2. Did he make enough money last year to push you past the 125% poverty level?
3. If not does he have a co-sponsor lined up?

I am confused, why don't you just get a divorce? She will not get anything from your money, you have to be married for quite some time for that to happen. Do you want a green card or why?
-
It also depends on the country - do they accept co-sponsors?
-
Or you could just let it be and it will expire in 4 months after being approved. Your partner cannot use it anyway without you.
-
Good luck then, hope it all works out!
I can't even apply for a receptionist job at a VA (Veterans Affairs) location because I am not a citizen.

We used a co-sponsor as well. We had her tax returns for 3 years, pay stubs (around 6 I think) and an employment letter. But my co-sponsor was at 100k, single with no dependents, so we didn't feel we needed anything else (like bank accounts).

Do they really call the Philippines though? Unless there is some super specialized type of job, or a security issue, I wouldn't think they would take the extra mile.

So if I rape him with a 12 inch #######, is it god or bad?
-
1. No, I think that is for minors who are in care of their parents. You leave it blank.
2. You can either put down N/A or same as physical address.
3. Yes, because it says "or" not "and', therefore if you are in one of those 3 cases, you have to answer "yes". It doesn't automatically mean that if you are in removal you are also in "deportation, or rescission proceedings". Can I ask, how come you are in removal?

I think that if some bills are in your name (water, electricity), and some in his (cable, internet) then it should be ok. Some companies only send the bill in the name of one of the people on the contract, so showing that you share utilities at the same address might be just as good.

I visited again in January of this year, April and going back next month. I hope in we get approved
Then why in God's name are you asking about 2012? You can file until April 2016 then.
-
Seems they never applied for anything related to USCIS.
-
Yes, you qualify, but I would send those papers before October.
-
So he is the American and you are the one who moved to the US? Do you have your green card?
-
Could you tell us what you did more in detail, please?

What's a boo?
A quick way to figure race of the writer. (Guessing it is the butchering of the French" beau" that was common in the south in the 19th century)

"She's just getting out of diapers, he's just getting into them!"
Gosh, almost chocked on my pop when I read that.
Imagine having to sleep with your great-grandpa! some people have no shame.

Does she really want to marry you now? I know it would be a deal breaker for me.
