I had my interview on 11th May 2015 Islamabad Embassy Pakistan, the Counselor said, " you have successfully proved your relationship with your mother, your case is absolutely normal and in order, but we have one issue, you need to submit joint sponsor"
i was literally disappointed, tried to prove my point but he kept on saying you have to submit this document.
he handed me a white page (photocopy) and marked the joint sponsor required. Then i asked him what about my Passport, He said we will keep your passport, i asked how much time will it take to issue me visa, he replied, its up to you how quickly you submit joint sponsor document to me.
i am attaching pic of that paper in this thread, i just want to inquire about couple of things.
1. How much time will it take now to issue me a visa ?
2. is it a normal procedure ?
3. Should i go by my self and submit the required document in person
PS: my major concern how much further time will it take

after that he said your wife income is so low to sponser you he gave us 221G white slip and he said your wife need to show us domecile which we brought bank account from US NEW YORK my husband asked him where is my passport he said we keeping your passport and we will put your visa in as soon as you get joint sponser its depends on you how fast you get and nevermind domecile since you have bank account in USA .
we living togather almost 3years and have 2 kids togather he did not ask for any proof of reletionship we brought tons of photos and documents.
visa status showing AP... white slip shows visa is denied 221G does that mean do we need some kind waiver ? please help

stereotypes of Muslims in Hollywood need to be changed. The notion that the people writing this show aren't even of Arabic/Muslim background is ridiculous. Once again depicting all Muslims as terrorists and wife beating control freaks where women have no say in anything and are oppressed, religious and zeolist racists. Tired of seeing all Muslims depicted as American hating ,kidnapping, women stoning terrorists. 99.9% of Muslims are so far from what is depicted in Hollywood and general media. No wonder the general public in the US are afraid of Islam and Muslims. It is ingrained in our brains and it needs to stop. I wish people would educate themselves instead of demonizing over a billion Muslims because of a few crazy extremists who twist Islam for their own agendas and don't follow the true meaning and writings of Islam, their teachings and the Qaran. No where in Islam is murder condoned or allowed., EVER....it's getting old. These stories sell tickets, if it were about a normal Muslim family and their day to day life, people wouldn't be as interested. People would rather watch the demonizing of the religion than know the real truth. Feel free to watch this video.

And mother in law can't or won't scan the rejection notice for you?

Did your mother in-law just tell you that you were rejected and you haven't seen whether that is true or not ?Did you receive a text or email stating that you application was rejected ?

you wouldnt be rejected because she lives in pakistan. You will have to wait for the notice to see what the reason was

Apparently the MIL has all the paperwork and won't give it to them.
