You are right, but we never know... Thank you for the wish! I moved on comparatively easily, I am lucky he didn't have a chance to betray me, which he could had I brought him here.
The withdrawal letter has already been sent this afternoon...

Please, no condolences, guys... they hurt so much now.
The man I loved to death turned to be a shithead. I figured out he abandoned a woman, pregnant with him. He was in the relationship with her and was pleading her to give him a baby girl exactly in the same words he is saying to me now. And then simply escaped, when she was 6 months pregnant, without saying a word. My feelings are betrayed. I can't love him anymore. I wrote to him the final letter, and now I have to get my life back on track.
How do I revoke the petition? If I revoke it before it was approved, will I still be considered a multiple filer, in case I file for someone else before the 2 year term?
Again, please, no condolences. I am lucky I figured all that out before I brought him to the US.

Yes, opening a bank account, where you could add your GF, sending her the second debit card and transferring part of your pay via direct deposit there will be probably the cheapest way. And it will also add another proof to your bona fide relationship - a joint bank account is a weighty evidence indeed.

Issued! The interview was on December 2nd, on the 5th SEAC status changed to Administrative Processing and today, on the 7th it says Issued. Now it's carved in stone finally and I am out of any doubts The local delivery company said to call them after 6pm and if delivered, the passport can be picked up until 7 pm. Hope, this will happen, then we'll be able to buy the tickets for December 10th. Packing... cleaning up the apartment... happy!

    Approved!!!

Our appointment was at 8:30 am. We arrived very early, at 7:30, for we hoped to get inside first to avoid the long waiting for the CO. But unfortunately, my name (the petitioner's) was not on the entry list, though I was promised by the email from the consulate, it would be there. So, the guards started calling the consular office to make sure I can be let in. While me and my husband were waiting for them, the other people from the line were checked in, so, we turned to be the last who entered the building. Be advised, that Tbilisi embassy is very strict regarding the stuff you can bring inside. No food, drinks, cosmetics, electronics or anything is allowed. I even had to throw away my sachets with anti-flu drink I bought the other day and left in my purse. So, you better don't bring anything but your papers to stay on the safe side.
Inside everything was verrry quiet! Almost 20 people were inside when we entered. Names were called through low-volume speakers and a small hall gave you the feeling you were at the church.
Documents were collected from my husband, and I was amazed and frustrated, that our notarized translations were not needed, though we paid a good amount of money for them here, and the Georgian interview instructions say, the translations have to be notarized. So, the translations I made myself and our friend signed for us were good - they were all from the NVC package I sent them. the originals were verified, but not all of them - the petitioner's divorce decrees were never asked for.
Basically NONE of the documents, we brought in, except the originals, were needed...8(((( My NVC package had all the evidence they wanted.
When my husband was invited to the CO, I approached the window with him, but I was asked to sit down immediately :-((( Thank God, the chairs are just 2 steps away from the window, and I could see and hear everything.

He was asked, where and how we met, where I work, where I live in the US, when I arrived in Georgia and if we live together here. What my son's name and age is. Some questions were repeated. Also he was asked about his father, who also immigrated in the US 11 years ago, and about his next of keen he has in Georgia.
There happened a little mashup too - the CO was looking at my husband's divorce decree, which said that marriage was concluded in 2010, and at the same time he was asking him about our marriage, which was concluded in 2015. So, his impression was that my husband was lying or didn't know something))) Then he figured out his mistake and apologized.
The entire conversation lasted 15 minutes. When I saw my husband's passport being taken away into a yellow paper folder, my heart sank joyfully - "approved"???
Then I saw some paper being handed to my husband, which did not look like form 221)))) and it gave me a little more hope. Then finally he walked away from the window with a shiny face and I asked him - is it yes? Yes, approved, he said, and the passport can be picked up in 3 days.

We saw another spousal visa interview - a young girl - it was approved. And another one - of a man in his 50s, who was denied. My husband, who was listening to the conversation, said, the guy did not know anything about his wife's previous marriages.

After entering the embassy at 8:40, we left it a 10 am, giggling nervously))) we are done with this important step, thank God!

We have been taking sedatives for a week already Given that all the paperwork is in mint condition, I believe, the best thing you can do for yourself is to relax as much as you can, otherwise this experience will be too stressful - having your fate in someones hands, waiting for their sentence ... oh man...

Log into your CEAC page. After your fees are processed, It will show 2 buttons saying paid, and 2 N/A buttons. Once the Affidavit of Support button changes from PAID to N/A, that means your case is complete.

Let me share with you my trick on how to get through to NVC without waiting for half an hour to be answered. I would start calling at 6:58 EST, hang up, when the answering machine said "our normal business hours..." and repeat the dial right away. After 3-4 calls I would finally get to "thank you for calling", and the waiting time would be only a couple of minutes, because this is how you turned to get to the top of the waiting list. Enjoy!
So happy, that nerve wracking time is over for me
