LOL - I thought my wife's oath was yesterday.  It's today at 1, we are leaving in a bit.  Taking my headphones and Nintendo Switch to sit in the park for a bit.  She is going to ask if I can enter, but I don't think so.  Doesn't hurt to try.  If it's that long, I'd rather take the train back home and get the car to pick her up after I drop her off.

That sounds like a good plan 😎 can you let me know how it goes?

  2. Hi all!

My husband had his interview on 8/5 at Federal Plaza in NYC and passed, his appointment was 10:15am and he was done by 11:45am. Not even 24 hours later I got a notice that the Oath is scheduled for 8/25 (like damn they're not here to play games!).

Has anyone had an Oath ceremony in NYC lately? I was told it would take like 4 hours by a friend, is that true? My husband wasn't smart enough to ask. I think I'll have to wait outside like I did for the interview, 4 hours is a whole lot of time to spend outside...

Same here. 85% done and nothing for us.

The wait is finally over for me (my husband)!! EAC17305, approved just now ☺️490 days. Got text but no email, approval shows in app and the usual USCIS site, not on DHS though.

I did some number crunching and there are about 13% cases left to be done on my day if you don't count the RFEs, pending approval and RFE makes it ~33% left.

I had to take a break from all of this obsessive checking; after 3 weeks I'm back but still not approved yet, ~75% of the cases are done for my day...

I really did not expect to be waiting this long, 489 days so far 🙄 I haven't filed for N400 yet.

it appeared to be a generic response.

We recognize your interest in the final adjudication of your pending application or petition and we are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will review your case but the CSC is committed to processing this workload. We will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in the most efficient manner based on our available resources.

Did you submit one on the usual USCIS website or myUSCIS? I did it on the regular website.

This is what I got: Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time. Further information about recent processing times can be viewed on the uscis.gov webpage.
