Got approved today (08/17/17)! New card is being produced

So my wife will be traveling overseas early June and will be coming back after the visa extension expires on June 27. I managed to get the passport stamped today for another extended year.
This morning, I realized that I didn't have my infopass appointment printed out and don't have a printer! I ended up using a photo printer and managed to print the appointment on 4X6 photo paper; it was perfectly legible thankfully. The guy at the infopass had a good laugh about that!
We also arrived 10 minutes late to the appointment due to severe public transport delays but thankfully no one seemed to care at the San Francisco USCIS office. All in all I'm relieved we managed to get the stamp as my wife will be traveling within a week and I would not have been able to make another appointment in time.

Thanks for your posts! I guess I have to make the best of this and move forward. At least she is with me. Since her Green card expires on 10/31, I technically have till 10/30 to file the 751. I see from Canadian Wife's posts that it took 209 days. Will she be out of status from 10/31/2016 till she gets the 751 approved? How does that work?
Once you file the ROC application, you will receive a letter that states that the green card has been extended for one year. Just file as much documentation as you can. Hopefully everything will go smoothly.

I just put me and my wife even though I was living with my parents. Worked fine.

Congrats! Pretty much happened to me too! My wife arrived to the US in July 30th and my NOA1 was also July 30th 2013

You have to keep calling till you get through. Then you have to be on hold for a loooong time.

You will need your Alien number first. If you have it then you can pay the fee.

My visa application status just changed from "READY" to "Administrative Processing" oh! it's a good sign right?!
Yep. It goes from READY--> ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING--> ISSUED and then they call you to pick up the visa

Yay I finally got my wife a plane ticket home! Exactly one year since we submitted the I-130 to the day (July 30th). I'm soooo thankful this wait is finally over. Hope you guys have a successful end to your processes as well. Eid Mubarak everyone!

When did she have her interview. We're 10 days post approval and no Visa.
I love the IT people at State, describe it as "glitch"
She had her interview on the 17th and got her visa picked up on the 24th. It was issued on the 21st though.

Smaller airports that accept international flights might have a better success rate too. I always get grilled at the San Francisco airport suspiciously whenever I fly to Indonesia and back. This last trip I flew from San Jose international and they barely spoke to me at all. Just waved me through!

I know it is very difficult but you just have to be patient. Calling everyday might get you some results. That's what I did till they gave me a positive response.

You only bring to the interview what originals you did not send to the NVC.

Hi there! Anxiously waiting for my passport back. What are the changes I should see in the CEAC page, if any and when? Right now it says "Ready" and status updated shows my interview date 07-18. We were so happy at the end of the interview, that we forgot to ask how long it usually take for the passport to be back. Thanks a lot!
I would say within a week but it depends on the country. Your CEAC page should change from "READY" to "ISSUED".

My wife got a call to pick up her visa on the 24th. Her visa status now states Issued. Can't wait to book that ticket. After 13 looong months!

My wife is outside the Embassy now just entering for her interview. Yay! Alhamdulillah
My wife is done with the Interview. She got my apartment number wrong, 1953 instead of 1359. Hope that doesn't negatively impact the interview. Currently we are in consular processing. The interviewer did say that we should receive the visa within a week but he did not give my wife a concrete date like he did for the other people interviewed. I don't know what to think. Hope for the best though!
