  1. sure its possible.

    as ceac is wonky.

for resolution, call into the DoS Hotline, and ask for casefile status.

It just confuses me that on Wednesday I called DOS and man on phone took all details correct and then after a few mins said 'it's in transit sir....it's on way to consulate' then when I call on Thursday to confirm that the lady on phone says 'it's at NVC' like she was just reading what I could already see on my screen. Didn't bother calling them Friday, Another London filer on here also had there case put in transit on Wednesday hence why we both thought they must be in same batch or something.

  2. Not yet, I don't think we're likely to get much help there. But our case has been escalated within the USCIS, hopefully they can find something out.

I don't know what to suggest as this is an awful thing to happen. This is no mistake of yours so you have every right to call them as much as u want and speak it a tier 2 officer. Also I would call ya local congressman's office and explain to them what's happened and see what they say. Hopefully they can help as they deal directly with the supervisors at the service centres and are quicker than a service request. Let me know how it goes please as I'm hoping this is all cleared up for you quickly.

  3. I just called NVC and they received our case on Friday YAY!

I've booked my medical for the 23rd January as I'm down in London on other business and it will save another 300 mile trip / £80 train fare. I just hope that I haven't booked it in too soon.

My visa is now on its way to the US embassy in London. Yours is properly with it so give the DOS a call and ask as that's what I did. The status on the NVC page still says 'AT NVC' but man on phone said its as just sent it so that will change shortly.

  4. You should be fine since 2013 tax returns won't be required until April. If you just have the tax return, and not a transcript, you need to have ALL forms that were used in filing (all schedules, forms, w2s, etc.) This is why its so much easier to just get a tax return transcript. You will also want to provide proof of current income, like pay stubs, employer letter, etc. Just some things to keep in mind. But using 2012 taxes are OK at this point.

It's a tax return transcript. Hopefully that and the 2012 W2s and 2013 W2s will be enough :)

  5. Minnescota, when you ring the Knightsbridge doctors they require your embassy case number (beginning LND) before they will let you make an appointment. You also need to be in possession of your police certificate.

Whether I have done the right thing by booking so early I don't know. Hopefully (fingers crossed) London will receive my case before my medical on the 23rd. I just couldn't resist the option to save myself some time and more importantly money as I'm in London on the 23rd anyway.

Awesome news :) our applications must be side by side with each other.

I'm going to call doctors and book a medical when my NVC status turns to 'IN TRANSIT' as at moment it just says 'AT NVC'. It only takes a couple of days before embassy have it from when NVC send it. I'm hoping it's sent out either today or tomorrow.

  6. Hello...I'm preparing to send the I-129F to bring my fiance here from Malaysia on a K1 visa. I have quite a few photos and receipts proving our most recent meeting in September 2013. I read here at this website that you print the photos on photo paper, label them and put them in a bag. Is it acceptable to print several color photos on white printer paper and place a caption beneath each photo describing what it with the date? Or, should I really print each photo at Walgreens and label on the back as described? I could certainly organize them nicely using Microsoft Publisher if it is allowable to do as I described.

Also, do I staple documents together or paperclip them?

    Do not staple them.

I screen shot loads of pics of me and my fiancée from facebook and sent them. Made sure to leave all the comments and times on them as well.

They was on normal paper from printer as well.

  7. Our case hasn't arrived yet :-(

The woman I spoke to said I could call back in a week.

Thanks for the heads up though and CONGRATULATIONS!

By the way Chrissy / Rich what is your case showing on the USCS website? Approved or shipped?

Did the DOS give you your LND case number?

I'm confident yours won't be far behind ours and will be at NVC early next week.

Case on USCIS is still the same and saying approved.

    Got a LND number.

  8. Thanks for the update :-)

I think the USCIS website gets updated when the petition goes from 'approved' to 'shipped'. I'm checking it every morning so I'll let you know if there is any update.

They don't always chance ya status on the USCIS site to let ya know if it's been shipped or not. There are other filers around me who was approved in April and September and there's still just says it's been approved and nothing about being shipped.
